The NBA's Houston Rockets are scouting Melbourne Tigers Luke Nevill and Eric Devendorf. While that might be surprising given the Tigers' 2-8 start to the NBL season and neither player has taken the league by storm, the NBA scouting network is massive and that league's needs can be different to what works in Australia. Rockets scout David Patrick, a former Tigers junior who played in the NBL with Canberra Cannons, is in Australia checking on players and will be at The Cage tomorrow night to see Nevill and Devendorf play against the New Zealand Breakers.
