Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, pleaded no contest Thursday to disturbing the peace while in Omaha during the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials. Jordan dressed in a maroon sport coat and tie entered his plea in Douglas County Court after prosecutors dropped a charge of obstructing an officer. Jordan, 21, of Chicago, paid a $250 fine. Marcus Jordan, the 21-year-old son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was arrested in Omaha yesterday after a disturbance outside a downtown hotel. Officers responding to a call at the Embassy Suites found hotel security trying to subdue Marcus, who was arguing with two women in the hotel driveway at 2:11 a.m. local time, authorities said. Jordan, who plays basketball at the University of Central Florida, was “very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative,” police said. New York Post |
