Mark Followill, the play-by-play man for the Dallas Mavericks’ television broadcast, missed Saturday’s home opener against the Charlotte Bobcats. Followill sustained some injuries Saturday morning while riding his bicycle around White Rock Lake. His return to the broadcast is unknown. “We wish Mark a speedy recovery,” said Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. “He has been an anchor on our television broadcast for many years and he will be greatly missed.” Fort Worth Star-Telegram
