Mark Payne played his college basketball for UC Davis in the Big West Conference. The 6’7 195lbs hybrid guard/forward has nice size at the 1 or 2 position, shoots the ball well, but is not great at creating his own shots. He seems to be able to manage the game well at the point, but his height may prevent him from spending too much time at that position at the next level. He seems like a Chandler Parsons type of player, without a true position, but just not as good of a basketball player as Parsons. Thus, Payne may be headed for a start overseas or in the D-League. He will be using the services of BDA Sports to help him make it professionally. Sports Agent Blog |
