Terrel Harris was doing something familiar after Saturday’s optional workout in the Philips Arena. He was talking to Mickell Gladness. The Heat will reunite the close friends on the roster Sunday, when Gladness officially signs a 10-day contract. Gladness, who was waived before the deadline to guarantee his 2011-12 contract, was not allowed to work with the other Heat players Saturday, since he is still technically a free agent. He is a stabilizing veteran presence, much the way Jamaal Magloire had been.
