Serbian big man Miroslav Raduljica spoke with Sport24.gr about his experience in China, his return to the NBA, his future and the next Eurobasket with Serbia National Team. (...) After China, you signed with the Timberwolves. How was your coming back to the NBA? to play along with Nikola Pekovic? To belong at the elite, to play against the best? I felt very good being in NBA again, but it went little rough with the Wolves because in my opinion I didn’t get a chance to prove that my ankle is good or bad to stay there. I had an injury in China which turned out that isn’t healed very good there and I couldn’t get guaranteed contract until the end of the season, but again, I feel very sorry that I didn’t get the chance to play little more when I was there. Now, you got back at Beograd. Which is the next goal of yours? Are you talking with European teams? You prefer to try and find again a contract in the NBA? There are some rumors that a greek team approached you? Is it true? My next goal is to heal my ankle totally so I can be ready for whatever comes next. That is most important thing for me right now. I didn’t talk directly to European teams (Greek teams too) but they showed some interest in me although I was waiting to see how situation with the Wolves will end up. It ended like you all know, but I decided that my health is most important. I will see when my recovery will end up and I’ll try to choose what is best for me in that moment. That means quality of team and time I got until the end of the season that team is in. Sportando

Serbian sports newspaper Sportski Zurnal reported Sunday that former Bucks center Miroslav Raduljica is finalizing a deal with the Wolves to join them for the rest of the season. Bought out by his Chinese team for $1.2 million last week, he’d give the Wolves a legitimately sized center — he’s a 7-footer — to back up Gorgui Dieng. A Wolves source said that Raduljica is one of many options the team is considering for its 15th roster spot — currently held by Jeff Adrien — but that no final decision had been made as of Sunday.
