Dangubic is still under contract with Serbian team Mega Vizura, but as Sportando indicated, his owner has a policy of an NBA opt-out once the NBA team is ready to bring him to the states. So with Dangubic being 21 years old and being drafted 54th in the second round, he’s likely to be a draft-and-stash project like so many of the other prospects the Spurs have around Europe. The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have selected Kyle Anderson with the 30th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Additionally, the Spurs acquired Nemanja Dangubic from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for the 58th and 60th overall picks in this year’s draft. NBA.com

The Sixers weren’t done wheeling and dealing after the 2014 NBA Draft had closed Thursday night. The team acquired the rights to 58th overall pick Jordan McRae and the 60th overall pick, Cory Jefferson from the San Antonio Spurs. The Sixers then traded the rights to Jefferson to the Brooklyn Nets. In exchange for the Spurs’ picks, the Sixers sent the 54th overall pick to the reigning NBA champions, which was Serbian forward Nemanja Dangubic. Philadelphia Inquirer
