Olympiacos BC is looking at a lot of American guards and forwards, including Marcus Thornton of the Sacramento Kings. The Reds are searching for players in the U.S. to fill the three places they have in their roster for foreign players. Gazzetta.gr

The 24 years old guard finished last season with the Kings with a 21.3 ppg average, 4.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists. His salary requirements are not that high and he will definitively keep the Reds interested. Gazzetta.gr

The American power forward spent his college career with Butler Bulldogs averaging 16.4ppg and 7.7rpg as senior in NCAA. Rasho Nesterovic is close to leave Olympiacos after one season. The Greek team won't extend the contract of the big man, although they have an option to do it until 15th of July. If Olympiacos exercises the clause, the team has to pay to Nesterovic €1.3M next season. Nesterovic returned back to Europe after several seasons in NBA but did not impress with his performances. The center also suffered an arm injury which slowed him down in the second part of the season. Sportando
