HoopsHype Phil Pressey rumors
Beginning on Friday, the Celtics will host up to 12 draft prospects for workouts over two days, NBA sources said. Six are point guards, a position where the Celtics could use some help: Shane Larkin of Miami, Phil Pressey of Missouri, Pierre Jackson of Baylor, Peyton Siva of Louisville, Erick Green of Virginia Tech, and Myck Kabongo of Texas. Centers Jeff Withey of Kansas, Steven Adams of Pittsburgh, Colton Iverson of Colorado State, and Greg Echenique of Creighton are also scheduled to attend. The Celtics have the No. 16 pick in the first round on June 27. They do not have a second-round selection Boston Globe
Missouri's Phil Pressey still doesn't get it. He's one of the best passing guards in the draft, but much like his junior season at Missouri, he got away from that and instead kept jacking up bad jumpers. He made a few highlight-reel passes, but he mistakenly believes he's a scorer and it's killing his draft stock. Had he come in and just ran his team in New Jersey, he might have played himself into the first round. Instead, he might have played himself out of it. ESPN.com

Missouri point guard Phil Pressey says he's weighing whether to return for his senior season or leave school for the NBA draft. The Columbia Daily Tribune (bit.ly/16mHRyx ) reports that Pressey remained uncertain when asked about his future shortly after the Tigers' 84-72 NCAA tournament loss to Colorado State on March 21. He has until the April 28 draft-entry deadline to make up his mind. HeartlandConnection.com
