Sources told ESPN.com that the Mavericks, who immediately made reacquiring Chandler one of their priorities after their first-round playoff exit against San Antonio, soon will complete a trade with the Knicks that they will clinch by agreeing to take back the contract of New York's out-of-favor guard, Raymond Felton, as well. The trade is expected to cost Dallas two starters -- point guard Jose Calderon and center Samuel Dalembert -- along with prized young point guard Shane Larkin, reserve guard Wayne Ellington and future second-round draft compensation. New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton is expected to plead guilty to a felony in his gun possession case in exchange for a no-jail sentence, prosecutors said Monday. Felton was in court as the Manhattan district attorney's office outlined the agreement, which would resolve a gun case that arose amid the breakup of his marriage. He's expected to admit June 30 to at least one charge, attempted criminal possession of a weapon — he won't have to come to court to do so — and get a $5,000 fine and 500 hours of community service. "I want to thank the DA for being fair to me in this whole situation," Felton said outside court, also thanking his family, friends and fans "for supporting me and understanding who, the person, I am." Knicks’ guard Raymond Felton and his wife went into overtime on Friday in an attempt to bring their stormy marriage to a peaceful end — but Felton threw a brick at the buzzer. Lawyers for Felton, 29, and his wife Ariane huddled together with a Manhattan judge for close to four hours trying to settle their divorce case, but the two sides couldn’t reach a deal. Both the point guard and his law student wife were in court for the proceedings, but sat on opposite sides of the courtroom and did not acknowledge each other while their lawyers went in and out of settlement talks with Justice Deborah Kaplan.
