Syracuse senior forward Rick Jackson posted his seventh double-double of the season in the Orange's 72-58 win over Michigan State at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. “He totally kicked our butt all night long," Spartans head coach Tom Izzo said of Jackson, whose stat line included 17 points, 16, rebounds, and a block. Izzo apparently wasn't the only one impressed with Jackson's performance on the court. During the game, CBS Sports writer Gary Parrish says he got a text from an NBA scout that exclaimed, "Jackson is like a new human being!" When Parrish asked the scout if Jackson was a serious NBA prospect last season, the scout replied that the Orange forward was considered an "overweight D-League player." Syracuse.com
