The Thunder have a full roster so to sign Fisher someone has to be cut. Who will it be? Probably Ryan Reid. The reason being that he can be bought out for cheap, re-sign with Tulsa for the rest of the D-League season and then OKC could choose to re-sign him over the summer if it so chooses. The question is: Who would have more value to the Thunder bench? Ryan Reid, or Derek Fisher? Sulia

On the day of the 2010 NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers selected Florida State forward Ryan Reid with the 57th pick and promptly traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a swap for LSU forward-center Magnum Rolle. While Rolle will be competing for a roster spot after receiving a training camp invite by the Pacers, it appears that Reid could very well be playing in Poland next season. According to The Hoops Market via Polski Kosz, “The Polish team is reported to be close to sign Ryan Reid for the next season.” With the Thunder already having to waive former Washington State guard Kyle Weaver due to a roster crunch, it appears unlikely that the team will give Reid the same courtesy that Indiana extended Rolle.
