He said he likes it in Santa Cruz. It isn’t your stereotypical D-League atmosphere at Kaiser Arena. It feels much more like a college game, and the loud, packed house seems to love Curry. But while he is hoping it’s just a pit stop, he said embracing the opportunity is what’s best. “I’ve just got to go out and focus on playing the same way I would (in the NBA),” Seth Curry said. “Just be aggressive. I can’t go out there thinking I’ve got to kill just to show everybody, prove everybody wrong. I just have to go out there, stay calm and play. I think I can do a good job of that. I’m definitely not where I want to be.” Contra Costa Times

Even if Dedmon doesn’t make the team now, he’ll play for the Warriors in Santa Cruz. He is one of three players who have already agreed to be affiliate players should they not make the team. Though the Warriors essentially let the 87ers take Hobson away, they could have, nevertheless, still invited him to NBA training camp had they wanted to. Instead, RidiculousUpside.com has learned exclusively that two of his Santa Cruz teammates (Cameron Jones and Scott Machado) are expected to be in camp instead. What's more, Stephen Curry's little brother, Seth, is expected to be in town for that as well. Needless to say, Hobson wasn't at all too pleased about that. Ridiculous Upside

Seth Curry said he now feels about 85 percent healthy and expects to compete in an NBA training camp in the fall. He said he has received camp invitations from the Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Minnesota Timberwolves and Charlotte Bobcats but has yet to pick one of those teams. “I’m just trying to get healthy right now and do some workouts for a few teams,” he said. “I did pretty well [while] injured, so once I get back 100 percent and show teams I can handle the ball full time, then I have a lot of confidence in myself.” Roanoke Times
