The Atlanta Hawks teamed with Trees Atlanta to participate in the "Threes For Trees" program presented by Arrow Exterminators for the third consecutive year. Hawks guards Shelvin Mack and John Jenkins helped staff members and Trees Atlanta representatives plant trees on a hillside along the Atlanta Beltline. They planted loblolly pine trees and native understory shrubs near the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark on the heels of NBA Green Week. NBA.com

The Atlanta Hawks have re-signed guard Shelvin Mack, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations/General Manager Danny Ferry. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not announced. "Shelvin has proven himself to be an excellent fit in our program,” Ferry said. “On the court, he plays well within our system and possesses a toughness and level of unselfishness that we truly value," Ferry said. "At 24, he is still a young player with the type of work ethic that can allow him to continue to keep getting better." NBA.com

Olimpia Milano turned with decision on Shelvin Mack for the point-guard position. The former Butler Bulldogs is under contract with Atlanta Hawks for 884.293 $, but his contract is not-guaranteed.
