The Brooklyn Nets are considering picking up Terrence Williams in next week's D-League waiver wire process, team sources told The Brooklyn Game. The Nets, then in New Jersey, drafted the mercurial Williams with the 11th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. He mixed moments of electric passing and athleticism with poor on-court decision-making, eventually getting demoted to the D-League for missing practices and general misconduct. He did not enjoy his time in New Jersey. The Brooklyn Game

Terrence Williams, who had a tumultuous season and a half with the Nets before being traded in 2010, may be returning to the Nets organization. League source reports that the Springfileld Armor have "legitimate interest" in the 6'6" combo guard and could sign him next week. All Armor personnel are approved by the Nets front office and executed by Milton Lee, the Nets GM for minor league operations. NetsDaily

According to a source, Terrence Williams is officially available in the NBA D-League player pool. The former Boston Celtics guard is talented enough that one of the top three teams on the waiver wire will likely claim him, but a team lower on the waiver wire (i.e. Maine) could offer one of the teams a deal they can’t refuse in order to get Williams. Former Celtics guard Terrence Williams, who played two games for Turk Telekom before leaving the Turkish League team last month, is eyeing a stint in the NBA Development League. And, according to a league source, there is mutual interest between Williams and the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics' D League affiliate. That interest, however, does not guarantee that Williams will join the Red Claws, currently in second place in the East Division. Williams must sign with the D League and then go through the waiver claim process. In order for him to land with the Red Claws, he would need to be passed on by other teams. Boston Herald

It wasn’t that long ago that a few of us, myself included, were very intrigued by the possibility of Terrence Williams backing up Rajon Rondo. Then, in May, TWill got himself caught up in a bit of a mess that involved accusations of pulling a gun on the mother of his child. I spoke to his attorney Aaron Kiviat today, and he told me that King County Prosecutors have decided not to pursue the case. In a statement, his attorney said the following: Terrence feels grateful for the diligent and thorough investigation that the King County Prosecutors Office and the Kent Police Department conducted in this matter. Terrence was confident from the beginning that he had acted in self-defense, and is vindicated in knowing that law enforcement felt the same way after reviewing all of the evidence presented to them.
