The tweet was quickly removed from the feed, which is generally reserved for team updates. A spokesman said the Jazz’s marketing department operates the Twitter account, but declined to say how many people have posting privileges. In the statement the team said, "The Jazz does not comment on other NBA teams transactions and furthermore, does not condone any negative comments about players, coaches, or front office staff throughout the league. The Miami HEAT announced today that last week’s unveiling of the White Hot uniform lit up the social media world with impressions totaling 15,964,766 according to data collected by tweetreach. The HEAT unveiled their White Hot uniform on Saturday, November 24 when they hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers at AmericanAirlines Arena. On twitter, a total of 3,539 tweets were sent referencing the White Hot uniform. Those tweets reached a total of 7,948,606 different people with total impressions reaching 15,004,510. On Facebook, the White Hot uniform garnered 53,999 “likes,” 5,070 “shares” and 1,753 comments with impressions totaling 960,256. NBA.com

There are certain players in the NBA who you don’t want to fall asleep around unless you expect the entire Twitter universe to see you. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul are two of those people. They proved that on Sunday afternoon when Clippers teammate DeAndre Jordan fell asleep on the plane and was given the old “here, have some food” treatment. Much like the Timberwolves when Kevin Love is around to post photos like this one from the London Olympics, you either need to stay awake on the plane or steal everyone’s cell phone before taking a nap if you’re a member of the Clippers.
