A Team USA source said Chandler and Carmelo Anthony will be named Thursday as part of the 28-player Team USA roster for 2014-16. Anthony said he will not play this summer’s FIBA World Cup in Spain but is still “open’’ to the Olympic Team in 2016. Chandler told The Post he may want to play this summer, depending on how his body feels. New York Post

Will you play in the FIBA World Cup in 2014 if Brazil gets a wild-card bid? I don't know. I had injuries in the past, and that gave other players the opportunity to play, to develop a little bit, to get experience. The season here, in the NBA, is almost 115 games if you make the playoffs.
