HoopsHype Zaire Wade rumors

July 3, 2013 Updates

In last Thursday’s NBA draft, two sons of former NBA stars were selected. Tim Hardaway, Jr. went to the New York Knicks, and Glen Rice, Jr. went to the Washington Wizards. In about 10 years, Dwyane Wade’s son Zaire could be next. Zaire Wade has already blown up the Internet with a highlights mixtape that’s as impressive as a fifth-grader can be. “My son loves the game of basketball,” Dwyane Wade told For The Win. “His dream is one day to play in the NBA, so I just try to give him everything he needs to be able to do that.” For The Win

“My son is big on watching YouTube,” he adds. “He’ll watch guys like Chris Paul, those quicker, smaller guys, and see some of the things they do and try to mimic it.” But does he also mimic his old man? “He’s got a little bit of me in him,” Wade laughs. “He’ll steal some of my moves every now and again.” For The Win
