Dirk: "JJ is back! Telemundo is here!"
Dirk Nowitzki: "Monta (Ellis) is going to be great this year again. I think we’ve got a good team. It was a tough loss, but it’s early."
Dos de los 3 mejores ala-pívots de la historia se han medido con la de ayer 53 veces. En esos duelos: Duncan 21,4+11,4 y Nowitzki 21,1+8,4
Dirk on Parsons: "It's not a one game season, there's 82 games in a season." Dirk said Parsons just needs time to learn team/system.
Dirk's advice to Parsons: "This is not a one-game season. There's 82 games in this season. He's got to get used to his new teammates."
No doubt Chandler got good look for the win. Still, Dirk passing to corner while guarded 1-1 by much smaller Green, is not a percentage play
With surrounding players I have no issue with Dirk passing there, ended up with a nice look and it just didn't fall. Poor debut for Parsons
Chandler Parsons misses a potential game winning three, not sure why Dirk didn't go right at Danny Green instead of passing out.
Don't give that ball up, Dirk.
Diaw has to be thinking if I knew I was gonna be left on an island vs. Dirk in the opener I wouldn't have gotten in shape so early.
No sport allows its great players to be highlighted the way the NBA game does . Dirk, Tony ..... all making plays tonight
Dirk is Dirking
Dirk so cold. Light work
He. Is. Still. Dirk. Nowitzki.
Dirk is good. That is all.
Dallas v. Spurs is terrific. Dirk is so great. Dallas in town Friday Nov. 7th. If you have never seen Dirk live get to the arena
There's nothing Diaw could have done to stop that Dirk shot, nothing.
Dirk gets called for his 4th foul guarding Diaw in the post, he wasn't too happy as one might expect.
Closest thing the Spurs will have to a home Halloween game and this place is full of zombies. Oh wait that's just Duncan and Dirk.
I believe that's the first Dirk tongue wag of the season. Came after hitting a contested jumper over Danny Green off an iso.
He's still Dirk Nowitzki.
Monta in the paint ends a 12-0 Spurs run, setup by a Tyson-like back tap by Dirk
Couple Mavs have looked a little leg-heavy: Dirk and Parsons.
Finally live. Gonna need Dirk to stop falling down. Need easy shots to fall (that will come). Refs don't seem great (either way).
Dirk must have pumped some serious iron this summer to knock Tim Duncan on his back like that without even hitting him.
