Efes Istanbul Rumors
Bucks guard Keyon Dooling is nearing agreement on a contract with Efes Istanbul, the Turkish team which recently signed New Jersey Nets guard Sasha Vujacic. Kenge Stevenson, the Dallas-based agent for Dooling, said progress is being made and a deal with Efes could be completed in the next few days.
With the Euroleague Final Four to be hosted in Istanbul, Turkish teams are making important market movements for the coming season. Efes Istanbul, aftet Dusko Savanovic, is ready to put under contract Stanko Barac. The giant had one of his best years in Europe with Caja Laboral with whom he has a valid contract next season. But Efes is not aware to pay the buyout to the Basque team has they did with Savanovic. If Efes won’t sign Barac, the alternatives are D’Or Fischer, Kaun and N’Dong.
