Eva Longoria Rumors

Tony Parker was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, and the pair discussed the Spurs point guard’s massive movie memorabilia collection, which includes a life-size Hulk figurine and a DeLorean styled after the one from Back to the Future. He says his teammates make fun of him when he drives it to practice. Parker received the badass whip from his fiancée (not Eva Longoria) and friends for his birthday in 2012:
Now, it appears that Matt is a bit resentful of having to play along for the cameras, all while defending his supposedly platonic relationship with Eva Longoria. And the NBA player also shut down speculation that it was his infidelities that killed his romance with Gloria. “It is ironic now how Gloria is trying to manipulate the professional relationship between Eva Longoria and myself as the sole reason for our separation, when she knows we split up in May,” Matt wrote. “The reason I broke my silence and released the separation statement a month ago, was due to her on going affair with a former friend of mine.”
Matt Barnes has revealed that his split from Gloria Govan isn’t as recent as most think. Matt, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, announced via Twitter that he and Gloria called it a wrap on the relationship before summer. But he said that they kept up appearances to make her look good on “Basketball Wives: LA.” “In May, Gloria and I decided to separate and in the best interest of her career, I foolishly agreed to portray that we were still together for the upcoming season [of] her show on VH1,” he tweeted last week. “As recently as August we decided to revisit a joint statement of our separation, but Gloria asked to delay making our separation public for the interest of her show.”
Matt I apologize, but I gotta ask you because you are in the news for reasons that I am sure annoy you. Matt Barnes dating Eva Longoria? She says no. You have been linked in the tabloids and the internet to Eva Longoria. Any comments on that? Matt Barnes: “Eva and I are friends. We are working together. She has an amazing cancer foundation as well, so we are working together and setting up an event for 2012. I know everyone likes to read and everything and hope or talk bad about situations, but Eva and I are just friends.”
Even with their divorce settled for more than seven months, Tony Parker and his former wife Eva Longoria have again popped up in the tabloid blogs the last few days. (Hat tip to Ben Maller.com). Rumor Fix.com reports in what it claims is an exclusive story that Parker’s mother, Pamela Firestone, made a dramatic appearance at a recent book-signing event for Longoria at a Williams-Sonoma store in San Antonio. The website reports that Firestone was seen sobbing as she rushed to get counter space so she could deliver a handwritten note to her former daughter-in-law. She then handed it to the actress before walking out of the store. Longoria reportedly remained calm during the ordeal.
San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker celebrated Valentine’s Day, a win over the New Jersey Nets — and his divorce — by canoodling with a brunette at Tao on East 58th Street. Parker was dining and drinking champagne with friends while “kissing and hugging the girl at the table,” said a witness. The ex-husband of Eva Longoria and the beauty continued partying at Greenhouse, where onlookers saw more flirting and kissing. Parker and the mystery woman left separately near 4 a.m. Parker’s rep said, “He had a fun night out with friends.”
Spurs guard Tony Parker’s divorce with actress Eva Longoria has been finalized. The web site TMZ.com and my colleague Jeanne Jakle are reporting that Longoria’s lawyer filed paperwork Friday in Texas to dismiss the divorce petition she filed in L.A. County Superior Court. Instead, it appears that both sides have agreed that Texas is the best place for the divorce because that’s where Parker and Longoria signed their prenuptual agreement. TMZ.com reports that there was ultimately no conflict in the divorce between the two sides.
Another sign that the divorce of Spurs guard Tony Parker from his estranged wife Eva Longoria appears imminent. During recent appearances, Longoria’s “7-7-07″ tattoo that commemorates her wedding day with Parker appears to have started to noticeably fade. The New York Daily News reported that the Roman numerals of that wedding date were no longer visible when Longoria attended actor Jeremy Renner’s star-studded birthday party in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Given that Eva Longoria and estranged husband and NBA star Tony Parker have been getting together — most recently for a San Antonio barbecue dinner captured by a TMZ paparazzo — there’s buzz the couple truly is attempting a reconciliation. The couple’s divorce is still pending, but a close Longoria pal at “Desperate Housewives” hints that Parker’s strong pitches to his wife to take him back “just may be working.”
Parker is in the midst of a high-profile divorce from actress-wife Eva Longoria that has kept his name in the tabloids for the past two weeks. Before Wednesday’s game, the gossip website TMZ.com posted photos it said were of the estranged couple lunching together in L.A. Parker slipped out of the Staples Center without talking to reporters. Earlier on the road trip, however, he reiterated his commitment to the Spurs. “For me, I just focus on the team,” said Parker, who posted five straight solid games in the aftermath of his Nov. 17 breakup announcement. “I just try to win basketball games. That’s all.”
The wife of Tony Parker’s former basketball team mate Brent Barry has spoken out to dismiss reports she’s linked to his marriage split from Eva Longoria Parker. The Desperate Housewives star filed divorce papers in Los Angeles last month, citing irreconcilable differences amid reports the basketball player had been unfaithful. The sports star was linked to Erin Barry, the estranged wife of his ex-San Antonio Spurs team mate Barry, but she has moved to distance herself from the speculation. In a post on her website, she writes, “I DID NOT HAVE AN AFFAIR WITH TONY PARKER, nor did I ‘pursue’ Tony Parker.
Tony Parker just lost his lawyer in his divorce case with Eva Longoria — because Tony’s lawyer also reps the man who’s married to the woman Tony was allegedly sexting. Richard Orsinger, Esq. filed Tony’s divorce petition on November 19 in Texas. But sources connected with the case tell TMZ … when Tony hired Orsinger, the lawyer didn’t know another one of his clients — former San Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry — would have a connection to Parker’s divorce.
NBA 2K11 is taking the lifelike quality of their video game to the next level. According to Deadspin, the latest roster updated in NBA 2K11 has seen a few changes for San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker — and it has nothing to do with his play on the court. Since the reported source of his impending divorce from Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria was leaked, Parker’s loyalty rating in the game has seen a serious downfall. The point guard is now rated “not loyal” and reportedly has fallen from an 87 to a zero rating in the game.
However, after Longoria Parker gave her lawyers the go ahead to file papers the following day, she announced that the pair had decided to go its separate ways. And her husband, who is facing claims of alleged infidelity, has broken his silence – releasing a statement to set the record straight. He says, “Eva and I have been discussing our situation privately. I was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles. “I did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California. We plan to continue to keep our discussions of this matter private.”
Eva Longoria filed court papers Wednesday to divorce Tony Parker, citing irreconcilable differences. Longoria, a star of TV’s “Desperate Housewives,” and Parker, an All-Star with the San Antonio Spurs, were married July 7, 2007. They have no children together. In the filing, Longoria requested that her name be restored to Eva Jacqueline Longoria. She had taken Parker’s name when they married.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Wednesday that the announcement of Tony Parker’s divorce with actress Eva Longoria-Parker won’t affect his team in tonight’s game against Chicago. “I have no problem ever focusing our athletes. That’s their job,” Popovich said. “You have your job and they have their job. And I’ve never worried about getting somebody focused. If I need to do that, I have the wrong people on the team.”
