Vanessa Bryant Rumors
The couple announced they are soon expecting their third daughter. She’ll have access to some sweet shoes and a fashionable bow tie once she makes her appearance. A cursory browsing of the comments on Bryant’s post reveals many people who have no stake in the matter are really disappointed it’s not going to be a boy.
Before the final game of his career, the Lakers organization presented Kobe and Vanessa Bryant with commemorative retirement rings celebrating the Mamba’s illustrious career. The ring was created by Jason of Beverly Hills.
With tickets to his last Lakers home game becoming so pricey, Bryant has partnered with the charitable fundraising platform Omaze to give away two front-row seats while also raising money for charity. Besides sitting front-row, the winners of the contest will get to high-five the Lakers as they take the court before the game. To enter the giveaway, fans have to donate at least $10 on Omaze. The money collected will be split up three ways to benefit The Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, After-School All-Stars of Los Angeles, and the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Vanessa Bryant: You can walk away knowing you’ve always played with everything you have, babe. I’m so proud of you. I’m proud of everything you’ve given to all of your fans even when you weren’t feeling your best. You’ve always pushed through it because you played for those fans that sacrificed so much to see you play in person. You mean so much to us all. I’m so excited to see what God has in store for us as a family now that one chapter is closing and new ones are opening. We love you! @KobeBryant
During the Sports Spectacular event on Sunday night, Kobe announced (via remote video) that he was teaming up with Sports Spectacular to help eradicate homelessness. Kobe, who’s been fighting homelessness in Los Angeles along with his wife and the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Foundation, wasn’t able to be at the event (something about a torn Achilles), but was still excited to share the news.
Kobe Bryant: “I’d like to officially announce that we’re partnering with Sports Spectacular to help eradicate homelessness. We’re doing an event, it’s called Kobe: Up Close, and it’s about my past presence and future if you are interested. The event is August 15th at the Nokia Theater.”
