Besides Vogel's no Hibbert lineup and Woodson's Game 4 lineup change, what are other questionable coaching decisions this postseason?
I always get a kick out of fans that think their players are "loyal" to their city or team. Breaking news: they're loyal to money & winning.
Weather couldn't be better in Sacramento today. Kings jerseys everywhere.
Eric Griffin earned a Summer League spot with the Miami Heat, his agent Tod Seidel told Sportando

People of Orlando, where can I find good chocolate cake?
Congratulations to the Voice of the 49ers and a great guy Ted Robinson on a 5 year extension.
The rest of the All-NBA first team, the first time Tim Duncan was on it: Michael Jordan, Gary Payton, Karl Malone, Shaquille O'Neal.
Just for the record if I had voted Kobe was my 3rd team all-nba G - Paul, Parker on 1st Westbrook, Harden on 2nd then Kobe - all in West.
How has everyone been?
Phil Pressey's agent told us yesterday his client will be working out for the Knicks on a date that is TBD, so there's that.
The league announced the All-NBA teams today. Many of the usual suspects in there.
Knicks do not have a second-round pick as of now, but should be in the market for a backup point guard this summer.
I have no inside dope, but I have a feeling at least a few of the PGs over the last two days from the Nets event will work out for Knicks.
Hibbert: "I’ll tell you, all the Nuggets from Melo’s team have really been doing a good job – JR Smith and Kenyon Martin, Melo and Birdman."
Dr. Pat Kraft named Deputy Director of Athletics at Temple University.
Is it just me or is it getting really old/tired that every time LeBron James does something that analysts compare it to how MJ did it?
Weather in NYC crazy today ...
David Feherty on the NBA just now: "The hole is in the air. That's really confusing."
For those confused: Kobe has 11 1st Team selections, 2 2nd Team and 2 3rd team (15 overall). Kareem has 10 1st team, 15 overall.

Allen: "You always have to revisit this floor. I call it the lab."
Allen shot 102. How many did he make? "A hundred."
Ray Allen ends after one hour.
Just voted for one of my best bros in a Hot Dad contest. I guess this is growing up. (Blink 182.)
Ray Allen is still shooting free throws. He just missed two. This might be another hour.
If you look at 15 yrs of drafts (1996-2010) about 60% of players in 11-15 range go on to careers for several seasons as NBA rotation players
Also .... Anyone heard the new French Montana?
Pop: "How do you gauge that? You don’t put a needle in them like a turkey. Yep, you’re more ready."
Running media theme is that perhaps last year's trip to WCF prepared Spurs' young players for this year's trip. Pop not so sure ... (cont'd)
Ray Allen http://t.co/kn49hk9irz
Ray Allen is still shooting free throws. Practice ended 55 minutes ago.
If Phil decides to give up on basketball he could always get a job in book marketing. He's got more gimmicks than Madonna.
Anyone read Phil Jackson's new book? I need that in my life.
Very interesting NBA Draft research, there hasn't been an All-Star taken in picks 11 to 15 since Kobe, Peja & Nash went 13-14-15 in 1996

For those who badly want Kevin Pritchard to take over Raps, remember which GM Colangelo "stole" Hedo from. Everyone is fallible.
Matt Bonner not surprised he got 0 All-NBA votes since it's based on "talent and skills." Says he'd poll better if based on "looks & charm."

Total breakdown, as of now: 6 point guards (4 small, 2 normal size), a couple of shooting guards & four bigs.
Still waiting to hear what Frank Vogel says about the intelligence of the Heat media.
Pacers need more out of their backcourt. Hill and Stephenson combined for 12 points (on 4-of-19 FGs) and seven turnovers.
Of the PGs 4 are, shall we say, small: Shane Larkin (5-11), Phil Pressey (5-11), Pierre Jackson (5-10) & Peyton Siva (6-0)
Asked about everything LeBron did on final play, Battier smiles and shrugs: "For him, that's a Wednesday night."
Remember: Shump was used at PG in his rookie season. Can be much more effective w/ the ball in his hands. Shump's position development key.
Am told Celtics are bringing in 12 draft prospects to workout over the next two days, 6 of them point guards.

Miami self-scouts tendencies. When it came to LeBron, Spoelstra figured out, when it came to L or R, "Get him the ball, get out of the way."
Late to this, but Rex Ryan saying he's disappointed in Sanchez has to sting. I'd rather someone be 100 diff. things at me than disappointed.
Actor Jim Nabors returns to sing at Indy 500; illness to keep Florence Henderson away from singing "God Bless America."
Someone is apparently posting on a Lakers site that I have some inside knowledge about Phil returning. That's not the case.
Chalmers should be fine for Friday
brb figuring out who is who in ham-fisted Toronto City Council-Game of Thrones analogy.
LeBron on claim that he shoots when he goes left and drives when he goes right: "I guess that theory is wrong."
The Preacher Mark Jackson of course could be a great change of pace for a relatively immature star like Howard though.
However, if Dwight Howard was the Dwight Howard we thought we knew a few years back, then wow, would that be an awesome pairing.
Personally the Warriors were my favorite team to watch this season. Like to see them improve but not lose that joy & freedom they play with
Griz coach Lionel Hollins said that he won't change starting lineup for Game 3 vs Spurs
Production and effort lack when he's not happy and that's should never be the case. That's something kids do. The behavior I mean.
Just doesn't seem to carry himself as a reliable teammate and leader. Ultimately comes off as selfish unfortunately.
That's the best way I can put it without calling him a bad teammate. Based on his poor body language and comments throughout season.
Spoelstra: "We got to our game but we were throwing the ball all over the court."
All-NBA centers, in descending order: Duncan, Gasol, Dwight. One voter put Big Al on the first team.
After watching Howard closely this season. I can't help but view him as an unsettling presence within the team dynamic.
Jazz C Al Jefferson got more All-NBA votes (20) than Deron Williams (6). Much tougher to find room for good guards than centers, though.
Can you imagine Dwight Howard on the Warriors? Wow. True way to verify if he is a cancer. That's a tight-knit group.
LeBron took so many uncontested lefty shots at the rim, it's hard to tell which is the game-winner when scanning through Getty.
In fairness (re: Vogel's comment), I’m sure Woodson could devise a more intelligent plan if he had Bosh –a center who shots 55% from 18 feet
Fan feedback: What was the most surprising aspect of New Orleans center Robin Lopez's performance in 2012-13?
I'm guessing Cavs guard Kyrie Irving will participate in Team USA's mini camp in July. Haven't heard definitively
WASHINGTON (AP) _ Obama: Journalists should not face legal risks for doing their jobs.
Without intending to do so, I picked Pac-12 guys as the most overrated and most underrated prospects in the draft.
FRANK VOGEL shifted blame to Paul George today for last play. "The plan was sound. The execution of it wasn’t," Vogel said.
Of course, people are saying it's cause of LeBron. Those are the same people who said they wouldn't look at the series w/o the Knicks in it
Frank Vogel came to practice emboldened: "If there’s a mistake made, I think you should take ownership. I don’t know if it was a mistake."
For those saying Pacers would kill TV ratings, Game 1 drew 8.2 million viewers, the highest-rated and most-viewed game of 2013 playoffs.
There's an obvious difference b/t Bosh's abilities & Copeland's. We know that. But Copeland was the best offensive player on the floor...
No. 3 seed Hapoel Eilat advance to semifinals series vs. #2 Maccabi Haifa following a 91:80 Game 5 victory over Maccabi Rishon.
Frank Vogel on Heat: "They had a more intelligent plan against Roy Hibbert than New York did. It was effective last night.”
... he eventually said, "Our defense is designed to keep him [at the rim] as much as possible." Basically, if NYK wasnt gonna move him, cool
FRANK VOGEL on Heat's late-game offensive strategy: “They had a more intelligent plan against Roy Hibbert than New York did."
Past 3 drafts, Raps stayed put twice, moved from 3-5 (still got JV); Cavs jumped from 8-1 in Kyrie year, from 3-1 this yr; Wiz went from 8-3
I asked Vogel abt whether he was surprised NYK wasnt using Copeland to bring Hibbert out of the paint. Took him awhile to answer, but...
No inside info from Sully on KG/Pierce: "I'm not the GM... so I don’t know anything that’s happening." Said supports them whatever happens.
FRANK VOGEL before practice: “We’re very encouraged. Our belief in our ability to beat this team is strengthened after Game 1."
Vogel on Miami's offense: "They had a more intelligent plan against Roy Hibbert than New York did and we've got to adjust to it." So true
DWade did not foul George on 3-pt attempt, so George should not have gotten 3 FTs and hence, taken the lead for Indy.
Sullinger, who resumed light workouts about two weeks ago, is now on a 10-week program aimed to ramp him up. Hopes to be 100% by camp.
Jazz play on July 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 at the Orlando Pro Summer League. As was previously rumored, it will be a tournament format this year.
Plus, Indy was lucky to have shot to win. George's 3pt was great shot but lucky; Ray Allen's missed FT was severe aberration and......
More Sullinger: "Because I had surgery, I’m taking my time and getting back right. It won’t be a recurring injury."
Jared Sullinger on surgery: "Everybody says back with a question mark, you might as well put an X through that."
Remember, the Pacers were 17-27 when he took over for Jim O'Brien. Vogel's turned them into contenders.
Frank Vogel is a terrific coach. He's taking way too much heat today (no pun intended). I would've had Roy in,but Vogel rationale was sound
Paul George on overplaying LBJ: "I'm used to having Roy back there. I gotta know who's going out on the floor with me."
All-NBA first team: LeBron, Durant, The Big Fundamental, Kobe and Li'l Coach Killer (CP3, not D-Will).
As D-Wade said the other day, "No one's 100 percent this time of year." Many procedures don't get reported on -- how teams manage injuries.
Regarding Smith, many NBA players (& pro athletes in general) get some kind of knee treatment/procedure in the offseason. Keep that in mind.
Anyway, NBA mock draft coming out today. One of toughest I've ever done, especially since I think half of first round will be traded.
All-NBA voting was just released. Surprisingly, Jazz C Al Jefferson got one first-place vote and would be on the fifth team if that existed.
When does Mark Towhey's book come out? Because I'm buying it.
You guys are all jerks for not telling me Ke$ha is coming to Cleveland in August.
Paul George was up til 4 am: "I watched SportsCenter for so long that they continued to show the same highlights."
Vogel said they will play zone defense next season. He has always been against it (the Jim O'Brien way) in the past.
Vogel on Miami defense: "They had a more intelligent plan against Roy Hibbert than New York did and we've got to adjust to it."
Frank Vogel quote on Miami's Game 1 defense coming in next tweet. Attention Knicks fans ...
I'd expect to hear the Warriors linked to nearly every notable free agent. Who wouldn't want to play with what they saw in playoffs?
As far as I can tell, this is the first time Tim Duncan was voted as a center. All other All-NBA teams he was a forward.
Heat ran Cole into a pick-and-roll w/ LBJ, a smart variation of Cole-LBJ pitch-back action they'd run several times earlier. Confused IND.
One thing I'm sure will be changed if they are in the same spot-besides Hibbert staying in; George won't play James for the quick jumper.
To say things like "Hill shouldn't have switched onto LeBron" on the first LBJ layup gives no credit to Miami for enticing the switch.
Heat-Pacers Game 1 gets a 6.3 overnight rating for TNT, highest-rated playoff game of this postseason.
Vogel also said he would've put Hibbert on the ball but only if there was <1 second left. 2.2 seconds too much time.
FYI, the balloting for NBA awards is done prior to playoffs. I voted Curry third team.
2013 All-NBA Votes: Raymond Felton (Knicks) 3, Damian Lillard (Blazers) 0.
PG admitted today that he played D on LeBron at the end as if Hibbert was behind him. "That's why I was so aggressive."
Steph Curry just outside the 3-team voting for All- NBA. Second-most votes (behind Brook Lopez) among others.
Vogel already has plans to play a ton of zone in next preseason so he can implement Hibbert zone on critical plays next season.
It’s not that there is zero chance tanking benefits a team, it’s that it guarantees you nothing and can set org back years.
Vogel said he would've zoned up with Hibbert on the final play but he didn't feel comfortable doing it with no practice.
George Hill for Kawhi Leonard is the greatest trade in the history of the NBA.
So, my early goal for the US Open is to try and not say anything offensive about Tiger Woods. Seems like a hard thing to do this week.
Can't believe Noah didn't make one of the top 3 all nba teams..joke
Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw is a candidate for the head coaching job in Brooklyn, I was told
