My first time seeing the new Hawks court in person. Absolutely gorgeous. I love everything about it.
Shelvin went 3/3 from deep in the opening quarter and is now 8/15 (53%) from distance in the preseason. http://t.co/yz9Og8bXoL
*26 for us (Thank you fans)
A first quarter that started with some promise turned into a deficit. It's 29-23 Pistons after 1.
Al with the steal, the fast break lead and the dish to DeMarre for 2 to start things off.
Al gets a huge cheer from the crowd upon being introduced for his home debut! http://t.co/2NcSMlLxxL
Doc Rivers making it about him is pretty amusing.
I hope they got the Gary Webb movie right, man. The journalism industry did him so dirty, but the meat of his work stands the test of time
Just watched that White Chocolate highlight reel with my face like this the whole time http://t.co/Vu9RTkeuoh
White Chocolate will always be one of my favorite players. Broke stereotypes. Loved the game. Cocky.
Good minutes from Exum
Clips looked sharp... not bad for these young Jazz to lead 22-21 after 1
Aminu looks confident with his jumper. Results are mixed.
Aminu just crushed one
Is there a coach working in the NBA today who is more behind the times than Byron Scott?
Based on what I saw last night, my inactive players on opening night are Muscala and Jenkins.
Hawks have 15 players under contract. Only 13 will be active opening night. My question marks are Schröder, Payne, Muscala and Jenkins.
Wow I have to save that gif of Snyder
Al Jefferson was the marquee player the Hornets needed for credibility, but Steve Clifford was the coach needed for stability.
Interesting. Gordon Hayward's shooting percentage has declined every season since entering league 2011: 49% 2012: 46% 2013: 44% 2014: 41%
Lakers don't look good at all this preseason. The sun is hot.
Two games since 04-06-14.. Feeling great.
Payne was actually more solid defensively than I expected, and mistakes he made were predictable. Muscala and Jenkins gotta step it up.
So in conclusion, I'm really liking our point guard rotation. Mack is rock solid and for the first time I'm having optimism re: Schröder
And he had several clutch plays down the stretch. It was two badly missed shots by Muscala and dribbling exhibition by Payne that killed it.
Payne looked like a rookie. He did some good things and some bad. He had good moments guarding Pau and Noah. No complaints. He'll get better
Not sure what John Jenkins did to go plus-19 through 3 qtrs but the 4th qtr exposed why his 4th-year extension remains a major ???
...because he can shoot. Those couple of bad bricks in the 4th were not a good look. Gotta have composure to knock those down under the gun.
