Down 14 w/3:30 left, "Let's go Celtics" chant breaks out. A gift from the Garden crowd.
Welp, was hoping for Bulls-Nets Redux in the first round.
Off that last tweet, since so many of you are asking, Larry Bird never made 100 3's in a season, let alone 135. Three wasn't in vogue then.
Amazing how Kelly Olynyk’s last week of play has drastically changed the offseason conversation.
We're through three quarters here at the Garden, where the Celtics trail the Wizards 91-75. Jeff Green has 18 points, while Bass has 16.
Jeff Green has now made 135 3's this year. He's just the 8th Celtic to do that (Pierce, Walker, Allen, House, Barros, McCarty, Ainge)
Damian Lillard is great, but he is getting LeBron money from Addidas? $100m?
Wyc Grousbeck is now walking through the Garden stands shaking hands and thanking fans for coming out this year. Nice touch.
Chris Johnson checks in, who is having a good finale with 10 pts and 3 reb in 14 minutes. Really securing a roster spot next year.
Watching Joel Anthony play his heart out each time he gets on the court makes you wonder why he doesn’t get 5 minutes every night.
Olynyk stops, the defender takes an extra step, then goes down easy. Still a charge.
THE LEFT HAND?!
According to the box score, the Wizards had seven points on two Celtics turnovers last quarter, which must be an NBA record.
It's 68-56 Wizards over the Celtics at halftime. Four C's are in double-figs, led by Jeff Green's 14. Trevor Booker has a game-high 20 pts.
Halftime: Wiz 68, Celtics 56.
Many Marathon bombing survivors, firefighters, police officers, nurses, doctors & others being recognized at the Garden tonight. Very cool.
Kris Humphries has a pair of sunglasses hanging off his jacket pocket on Celtics bench. Future so bright ...
Wonderful tribute for several marathon bombing survivors after the first quarter.
As do the Wizards. First-class gesture.
The Celtics shorten their timeout between quarters to clap for marathon survivors being honored.
Washington on pace to score 152 points tonight. Wizards lead the Celtics 38-24 after 1Q.
The Wizards lead the Celtics 38-24 after the first. Bradley leads the C's with 10 points, while Bass has 9. Wall leads the Wiz with 13.
So many good sports birthdays today: Kareem, Luol Deng, Boris Diaw, Bill Belichick. And Akon of course.
Celtics replaying President Obama's speech in Boston after the Marathon last year. Standing ovation as they show survivors on the Jumbotron.
Random thoughts from this season: Gerald Wallace is one of the best locker room guys in this league.

Brandon Bass deserves the Red Auerbach award for many reasons, one of which is playing against dudes 4" taller than him all season.
Overall take: @victorybeer DirtWolf is one of my favorite double-IPAs to date. Great balance, dry, bitter. Glad it's year-round now.
In a nice little twist, Chris Babb was the first guy off the bench tonight.
It may have been obscured by a bad Celtics season, but Bass was the most consistent player on the team this year. Also the healthiest.
Brandon Bass, playing in his 82nd game of the season tonight, wins the Red Auerbach Award.
Bass very deserving of Red Auerbach Award this season. He flies under the radar a lot but a great presence in the locker room, community.
There really was no other pick than Brandon Bass for the Auerbach Award. Most consistent Celtics player all season.
Sullinger added, "Hopefully we’ll come back better next year."
Sully thanks fans pregame. "Hopefully we'll come back next year." A ringing endorsement!
Jared Sullinger to the fans just now: "We want to thank you for your endless support and passion throughout this whole season."
