Thibs said Noah had knee effusion, on top of getting poked in the eye last night.
Mayo Clinic defines knee effusion as: "Water on the knee is a general term for excess fluid accumulation in or around your knee joint."
Why does he have to do cryotherapy? Pain in the knee and inflammation.
One of the causes of that is ligament problems. Guess what has been known to mess with ligaments? Cryotherapy, which Noah has to do a lot.
A quick medical update on Noah, and why you should be concerned. He's out with left knee effusion ... water on the knee.
"..else ... C'mon. Jesus.'' The Thibs.
Then comes the beauty, when Thibs was asked about playing in the altitude - "It's beautiful... I mean what... it's like playing everywhere..
The correction came from a reporter that said, "You mean ankle?'' Thibs snaps back, "Yeah.''
Poor Thibs. He rules Taj Gibson out - considering Gibson is in Chicago - pretty obvious. Then says it's a knee.
Thibs says Noah is out knee/eye. Hinrich is in. Gibson still in Chicago and Thibs says he's still day to day. Rose and Gasol will play.
Joakim is out...left knee and left eye. Kirk is a go.
Hinrich on the court now, seeing if that chest will allow him to play.
Welcome to Bulls ball http://t.co/6lGpLgkFVc

Rose (left hamstring strain)-probable Gasol (left calf strain)-probable Hinrich (chest contusion)-questionable Gibson ( ankle sprain)-out
It just seems important to mention that the Milwaukee Bucks have a better record than the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wheels down Denver. Bulls - Nuggets 730 CT pre Bulls Radio Network ESPN 1000
There can't be many more lonelier walks than after a game in Salt Lake City. It's always cold and there aren't many people around.
Thibs has been pretty consistent about wanting Rose on the floor since camp opened. Tonight was just the most open he's been about it.
Wheels up headed to Denver. Go Bulls !
Exasperated Thibs on whether Rose&Gasol would be able to play in Denver tomorrow night: I would hope so. Jeez. We'll see tomorrow, I guess."
...“I would hope so … geez. We’ll see tomorrow, I guess.'' Thibs.
Thibs quote of the night. Asked if he thinks Rose and Pau can go back-to-back with game in Denver tomorrow ...
"...and that’s how he practices, that’s how he plays.'' Doesn’t take any possessions off. He’s into it and it shows.’’ Thibs on Butler.
Thibs definitely not hiding who his favorite kid is these days: "He plays at an incredibly high intensity level all the time ... ''
Thibs: "When Derrick strings some games together he's going to take off. He's got to go. That's the bottom line. He's got to go."
Thibs, on if he thought Rose was fatigued in the 2nd half: "Oh I don't know. Jesus. He's got to get out there and play ..."
Thibs sending a pretty clear message to Rose about finding a way to stay on the floor. Thibs' frustration with Rose's status is palpable.
Mike Dunleavy's only two points with 22.5 seconds left in game on followup of Jimmy Butler blocked layup is winning basket.
"... He’s gotta go. That’s the bottom line, he’s gotta go.’’
"You can see he’s not real comfortable with the ball yet, but that will come. When he strings some games together he’s going to take off.''
“Oh I don’t know, Jesus. Gotta get out there and play, you know. I thought he did a lot of good things. ... ''
Intense Thibs sending a message to Rose and his protectors. Thibs asked about Rose looking fatigued:
Noah had drops put in his left eye. Hoping he doesn't have to goggle-up. Dunleavy, however, was pulling for Noah in goggles.
Butler Rose Gasol. Strong. Butler took Hayward out of the game. Mirotic developing in front of our eyes
As always Bulls fans. Thanks for listening A pleasure.
Noah got his eye checked out. Says they put some stuff in it but hopes he will be fine for Denver.
Thibs made it very clear that he is tired of Rose injury talk. "He's gotta go (play)!" Thibs insisted twice. More to come.
Thibs said Noah is being looked at by eye doctor. He got poked in the eye late in the game.

Hayward misses a 3 at the buzzer. Bulls escape with a win. Butler and Gasol lead the way offensively again combining for 48 points.
Gasol splits a pair...Bulls 97-95 2.9 sec left Jazz ball.
Tony Snell found his place on this team - jump-ball expert!!
Thibs goes with offense/defense sub putting Snell back in for Dunleavy. Snell wins jump ball. Bulls have chance to wrap up game.
Dunleavy with the put back Bulls 96-95 Jazz ball 18sec left
Home crowd in Salt Lake City confused. Constantly calling Jimmy Butler, "Loooouuuuuuuu." Bulls by one with 18 seconds left
Great hustle by Dunleavy. Butler picked up ball and raced down the floor but his shot got blocked. Dunleavy put it back in, gave Bulls lead.
Welcome back to the game, Mr. Rose.
Go-to player for the Bulls this season? Jimmy All-Star.
Noah is back on the floor. Appears to be moving OK.
Jazz take their biggest lead of four with 3:30 to go. The altitude, yeah, tha'ts it, the altitude. And all the streets are named Temple.
Jazz have clawed all the way back. Outscored Bulls 46-36 in the paint. Out-rebounded Bulls 37-31. Lead by 4 with 3:30 left.

Bulls players need to start wearing bubble wrap.
Noah eye poke has him in the locker room.
Rose's lateral quickness isn't there right now. Much more noticeable on defense.
Jazz take a 88-87 lead

Aaron Brooks has 7 points in the fourth quarter. Rose waiting to check in at the scorer's table.
Rose back in with 6:59. Hero time?
Even with back-to-back, figured he could give them 28-30 tonight.
Rose 19 minutes and still sitting. Hmmmmm.
Noah went back to the locker room. Looked like he might have gotten hit in the face a few minutes ago. Bulls' staff checking him out.
Butler showed up to the arena before the rest of the team this morning, and was working on different ways to spin the ball for a layup.
Butler continues to attack the rim. His offensive confidence is off the charts. He's got 23 points and is 8-for-9 from the line.
Butler with 23...Bulls 84-82 early 4th
Snell has taken McDermott's late game minutes for the time being. But Thibs isn't very happy with either of them.
Won't see Snell for a month.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are self-destructing right now. Can't find any rhythm offensively.
Butler gets T'd up. Will be interesting to hear what set him off after the game. Jimmy doesn't usually get that upset.
Venom suit ... I'm telling you.
Butler gets tied up with Ingles and is not happy. Feels like he got pulled. Talked to him on the floor and then said, "F*** you."
Bulls gave up 36 3rd quarter points
Bulls once led by 21--lead cut to 1 after 3...78-77
