Clearly NFL teams placing high value on dreadlocks this year.
Ok Noah sits, recently injured Mirotic in.
Jimmy Butler is a +46
Now I'm only turning back to Bulls game to see who's still playing: Noah, Gibson, Kirk H. 6:42 to go!
Bucks could outscore the Bulls 38-0 in the 4th and still lose.
90-49: Why is Pau or anyone of consequence still playing for Chicago? Thibs ain't doing much to help his rep. Bring in the D-Leaguers!
Whew, Rose exits.
Not sure I've seen anything like what's going on in Milwaukee. 84-38. And Derrick Rose is still in.
Rondo's playoff share should have gone to the PR staff for putting up with players blowing them off when they tried to set up interviews.
It's weird that the players said they had no problems with Rondo and that he was a good guy, and then they didn't vote him a playoff share.
"I still think that’s a deal u have 2 make as a franchise. I think as a franchise sometimes you’ve got to take some risks." -- Dirk on Rondo
I'll make it happen
Like I'm Lou Willlllllll
YOU TAKE THAT BACK http://t.co/DIXGDZnuo5
Since the pros aren't using this for a while, maybe I should work on my game... http://t.co/f3c17Qd9SG
"I think he's going to end up in Dallas. " -- TNT's Shaq on Portland free agent to be LaMarcus Aldridge
Last year 5 first round playoff series went to 7 games. This year 5 first round playoff series end in 4 or 5.
Understood you can't represent a team/company w that kind of tweet. But, IMO, the *offended* seem a little over the top.
We're an odd society. Greg Hardy has a job but a gun emoji pointed at a horse emoji gets you fired.
Texas has open-carry gun laws & trying for open-carry on college campuses. But we're so offended by a gun emoji pointed at a horse emoji?
Had to watch 3rd period of Tampa Bay v Detroit because Mike Emrick, Game 7 & enough old Stars-Red Wings wars to wanna see Detroit lose
Rick Carlisle on Dirk Nowitzki: "His greatness is not in question. Going forward, he’s such an important asset to this franchise."
Rockets fired their social media manager as a result of that tweet. Definitely in poor taste, but fired seems harsh. Be careful out there.
You ever wonder if players take it really personal that teammates they went to battle with decided not to vote them a playoff share?
Rajon Rondo was not at the exit (media) interview today. And Monta Ellis didn't talk to the media, either.
Carlisle, on whether he's up for another 15 years coaching the Mavs: "Sure."
"I mean, the problem is there would some stiffness coming off the bench.'' -- Dirk on being a sixth man next season
"You have to weigh in on everything. It’s just a balance, at the time, where u are in your career and what means most to u." -- Tyson on FA
Parsons: "I’ve never had any surgery n my life so I don’t no how my knee will respond. We still don’t no what the operation is going 2 be."
"It feels like home for me here in Dallas so hopefully I can come back and finish my career here for the next couple years." -- J. J. Barea
I wish the guy hadn't been fired. I may work in social media in the future and it's harder than anyone thinks. But you can't say that!
Carlisle on Dirk as 6th man: "Is it possible? It's possible. Is it likely? Not sure about that. ... It's character above & beyond the norm."
Carlisle: "(Dirk) has demonstrated pretty thoroughly he's willing to make any sacrifice possible. He's made great financial sacrifices."
Rick Carlisle: "We respect Rondo. I respect Rondo greatly, as a person & as a player. ... He's going to be a very sought-after free agent."
Rick Carlisle: "This is a big summer. And from here, we'll devise a plan and we'll go forward."
Rick Carlisle: "Our desire is not to have a locker room of free agents every year. That said, the guys that we've had have been terrific."
Rick Carlisle personally went and shook every media person's hand following his exit interview.
Donnie Nelson: "In this day & age, with the advent of free agency, you can get things back to the way we're used to in pretty quick order."
Donnie Nelson on the Rondo trade: "We've had issues in the past. This one got a little more press than we would like."
Donnie Nelson on Rondo trade: "Certainly wasn't risk-free, but it was worth the risk. If we had to do it over again, we'd pull the trigger."
Donnie Nelson: "There are some interesting prospects this summer. We'll have max flexibility to go out and sign a player."
Carlisle said he'll "respect" whatever decision Dirk makes regarding the German National Team but sure didn't sound like he'd encourage it.
Carlisle says Dwight Powell will play for the Canadian National Team this summer & there's an opportunity for an increased role next season.
Rick Carlisle says don't read into the reports that his house is on the market. He and his family are in the process of downsizing.
Donnie Nelson: "If we had it to do all over again [Rondo trade], we'd pull the trigger again."
Donnie Nelson: "I wouldn't call 50 wins in the West no big thing, but we're used to bigger and better things." http://t.co/Ivhv3VuF5d
Dirk on Monta Ellis' player option: "He took the closer role over for us, and he had some phenomenal games. We'd love to keep him."
Dirk on Parsons as a recruiter: "He's great at small talking and all the stuff I'm not great at, so I'll let him do that stuff."
Chandler Parsons' recruiting pitch: "We have a great organization. We have high expectations. We have the best owner in sports."
Parsons on Rondo: "I don't think he's a bad guy. It just didn't work, to be honest with you. The style of play just didn't really clash."
Chandler Parsons: "I want to bring the best guys here and I want give us the best chance to win a championship. I'll do whatever it takes."
Rick Carlisle will talk in a few minutes. He's meeting with Dwight Powell, the last player to go through an exit interview.
Parsons: "My biggest goal right now is to do whatever I have to do to fix my knee. No matter how long that's going to be, it will be good."
Chandler Parsons: "I want good players around me, and I think we have a chance to make some noise next year."
Chandler Parsons on his role going forward: "I think I'm going into my prime. I think I'm ready. ... I want the ball in my hands."
Dirk Nowitzki: "It just didn't work out on the court. I never had a problem with Rajon off the floor. He was actually a really good dude."
Look who I found! http://t.co/TEY4n7WWS0
Al-Farouq Aminu says his wife pointed out in an article when Tyson Chandler praised his play. That went a long way with Aminu's confidence.
Tyson Chandler on this season: "I spent a lot of long nights, trying to figure out how to push this team and bring this team together."
Tyson Chandler on the Rondo trade: "Unfortunately, the pieces didn't fit into the puzzle, and it just didn't work out."
People who haven't talked: Monta, Rondo, Jefferson, Felton, Carlisle, Donnie. Not everyone will talk. You can probably figure out who.
Aminu said he will opt out of the final year of his career. Amar'e said he's already paid in full and he's looking for a winning situation.
Al-Farouq Aminu says he loves his fit in Dallas and the confidence he got from Tyson Chandler's support. http://t.co/MmxAhROlAf
