You gotta go inward...
3 of 4 down...
Great win, keep it rolling!
Bazemore is averaging 14.6 ppg on 45.9 percent shooting (40.4 percent from 3)
Portland lost its 3rd straight, Warriors about to win 4th straight, and GSW is about to be only 1.5 games behind Blazers for West 5th slot.
Nemanja Nedovic playing in his first game since December.
Monta Ellis blocks Stephen Curry.
Just an awful way to end the half
Andrew Bogut with the one-handed alley-oop dunk over the guy he was traded for.
Andre Iguodala just blocked Shawn Marion's shot at one end, raced the length of the court, and dunked home a Steph Curry missed three-ptr.
By the time Stephen Curry scored his first points at the 4:19 mark of the second quarter, Jordan Crawford was on the board for 14 points.
Devin Harris has a sore right Achilles and is questionable to return, according to the Mavericks' PR.
The Warriors' starters are cheering on this bench-led run like Kent Bazemore cheered on all of their runs the past 1 1/2 years.
A Jordan Crawford highlight reel set to "Shots" would work if not for that word "everybody."
Jermaine O'Neal got the ball in the post and backed down his defender. All the while, Stephen Curry on the bench flexed with both arms.
This is what Jordan Crawford does. Sometimes, he's unstoppable
Joe Lacob brought out of his seat by that last Jordan Crawford shot.
Harrison Barnes, Steve Blake, Draymond Green come off bench to hit 3's in 1st quarter before Jordan Crawford hits a long jumper at buzzer.
Andrew Bogut is defending Shawn Marion as the Warriors go with Bogut and Jermaine O'Neal in the lineup together.
Steve Blake even has a calming effect on GSW promotions. He just tracked down a ball & assisted a child, who was doing a race during the TO.
DAL 16, GSW 8 (5:55, 1st) Dallas' backcourt is outscoring the Warriors' guards 10-2.
The Warriors are wearing Los Warriors warmup shirts. The Warrior Girls are dancing in Bollywood Night dresses. Confusion reigns.
Monta Ellis still gets a warm welcome when introduced at Oracle Arena.
GSW vs DAL starters: GSW -- Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, Lee, Bogut; DAL -- Calderon, Ellis, Marion, Nowitzki, Dalembert. Out: Ezeli.
But the big picture is that the relationship goes up and down and you never know when the scuffling could start again.
Yes Harbaugh and Baalke are working together--report that they weren't talking was not accurate. Business as usual with them.
Such a Harbaugh move to prove that Jonathan Martin can fit naturally in the 49 ers' winning locker room.
And I'm kidding about Revis. Probably will get screamed at either way, anyway. Why are so many Raiders fans happy with 4-12, 4-12?
Getting shouted at for being a "Raider hater" just like I did when I questioned the Hayden and Watson picks... and then 4-12 and I'm evil.
If you're telling me Houston, Veldheer and Jennings stink.. what does that say for the Raiders who are left over and didn't produce in 2013?
And cue the furious Raiders fans. Guys, do you think SMART moves are what got them to 4-12, 4-12, and on and on and on?
General opinion: When you have more than $50M in cap space and very little talent, you should keep some of the good F/A's on your own team.
In January, McKenzie suggested Raiders F/A's he wanted most to keep: Veldheer, Houston, Jennings and Woodson. Well, Woodson's still there.
Andrew Bogut to KNBR on Draymond Green learning poker "the hard way a cpl times but he’s not afraid..not afraid to put his money in there."
And now some 49ers fans believe the Gabbert deal means it's all falling apart. Umm, guys? Colt McCoy was the back-up last year. Calm down.
In that unwritten item, I was going to suggest Rex Grossman as a dark horse back-up QB candidate. Gabbert is close! (But younger.)
Oh, guess I never actually wrote my item on why the 49ers would add a veteran QB much unlike Mike Vick. Oops. Can't write or post 'em all.
Don't know about Gabbert's "arm talent," but I presume he still has some arm strength. That's why Vick-to-49ers never made sense to me.
Every time I asked about a 49ers back-up option, I was told Harbaugh likes "stature" and "arm talent" in his QBs. Gabbert is 6-5...
Makes sense that some Raiders fans would be mad at me for suggesting the team NOT repeat DeAngelo Hall, Kwame Harris, Gibril Wilson, etc..
The Raiders probably never should've been IN the Revis market. Totally wrong match, in my opinion.
Bathea or Whitner? ... Give me a $4M option and move up for Calvin Pryor
If Bethea's deal is a true $6.5M annual average, he'd rank 8th on 49ers, ahead of Gore, Boldin, JSmith, Crabtree...
Bathea at $6.5 or Whitner at $7 ... I'm taking Whitner for chemistry sake.
Good Saffold stat: He's young, only 25. Bad Saffold stat: Has missed 17 games in the last three seasons.
Clearly, the Raiders believe Saffold is a better LT than Veldheer. That's the decision because looks like the $$ was similar.
Cleveland is apparently doing what Raiders fans want Reggie McKenzie to do--vastly overpay just to get anybody there. We'll see how it works
Cleveland gave Whitney $7M per?????
Good for Donte Whitner if he got anything close to $7M per from Cleveland. Solid part of the 49ers D. But... $7M per? Wow.
Gonna use last part of this NBA season to tweet fair amount about how good Jim Barnett is as Warriors analyst.
If the loudest reason to add a $16M player is "you have to pay somebody," I'd probably find several other players to pay.
Both local NFL teams should avoid super-high contracts. Niners don't need them. Raiders need too much to splurge on one guy
You guys get point though that Warriors are really good this year and they mostly haven't been for 20 years.
Almost no chance the 49ers add anybody close to Willis' AAV. The Raiders could go over Branch's #, but would have to be careful if they do.
Always good to remember: As noted yesterday, 49ers' top average salary is Willis at $10M; Raiders' current #1 is Tyvon Branch at $6.65M.
Are Warriors' fans slipping? I was wrong about 17 games over stat. Last happened March 2008. Warriors were 45-28. My bad.
Maybe I'll say this too many times today: Don't pay players for what they used to be, pay them for how they'll play during the contract.
If Warriors win tonight vs. Dallas they'll be 17 games over .500. Last time they were 17 over .500: April 1994.
I see Steve Kerr linked to Knicks. Maybe. But my longshot parlay is Mark Jackson coaching NY and Kerr as Warriors coach.
Man, people are mad at Barry Bonds
Basketball is always gonna be OK. It's the NBA I worry about.
