Great win and way to end the regular season...but maaaan, these injuries just won't leave me alone
Sorry for the near goal tend it look way off from my angle lol oh well
So at what point does GSW-LAC become a rivalry? After game 1? After this series?
I'm no Giants shill, and I know this will get the Stats Club mad at me... but the Dodgers are an awkward team to watch.
Klay Thompson is going to return to the game after sitting out the past 40 minutes. That gives the Warriors another FT shooter on the floor.
It looks like Draymond Green is going to have to log some minutes. This is not what the Warriors wanted to happen.
Jordan Crawford ... wow
Jordan Crawford is 15-of-27 from the floor for 38 points, one off the career high he set vs. Miami in 2011. ... Hilton Armstrong fouls out.
Mo Speights has fouled out, so Ognjen Kuzmic and Hilton Armstrong -- each with five fouls -- man the paint.
If nothing else, Barnes is giving Doc Rivers something to think about
Ognjen Kuzmic and Mo Speights start the 4th quarter with five fouls apiece. Hilton Armstrong also has five. ... Klay might want to limber up
Warriors-Clippers Game 2 is Monday 7:30 p.m. on TNT, Game 3 Thursday 7:30 p.m. on TNT, Game 4 Sunday 12:30 p.m on ABC.
Idiots out there think I don't like Curry. That jacket he's got on in Denver is nice, really nice.
Warriors open playoffs vs. Clippers Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on ABC.
Gm5: GSW at LAC, April 29 TBD; Gm 6 LAC at GSW, May 1 TBD; Gm7: GSW at LAC, May 3 TBD.
Gm1: GSW at LAC, Sat 12:30 p.m; Gm2: GSW at LAC, Mon 7:30 p.m.; Gm3 LAC at GSW, April 24 7:30 p.m.; Gm4: LAC at GSW, April 27 12:30 p.m.
David Lee and Stephen Curry are supposed to be getting rest, but they're doing quite a bit of cardio by jumping around and cheering.
Denver is beating Mo Speights and Harrison Barnes 23-20, but the Warriors are using five other players, so they're ahead 34-23.
This time it's because we don't know when Warriors-Clippers Game 2 will be. Either Monday or Wednesday at Staples. Game 1 is Saturday.
I've just booked a one-way ticket to LA--the last time I did that I stayed there for 10 years.
Jordan Crawford might have just injured his back while cheering on the last Marreese Speights' play from the bench.
I thought a Denver fan "Kuuuuuz'd" Ognjen Kuzmic's entry into the game, but he was just booing.
It doesn't mean near as much as the Warriors' rest/health, but they can tie the franchise's single-season record with a 24th road win.
Klay Thompson hits a three to tie the NBA record he and Stephen Curry set last season when they knocked down 483.
Hilton Armstrong goes down in an injured heap, less than a minute into the game. He's trying to run off the pain.
Warriors-Clippers are official
Just as fate would have it, Oklahoma City holds on vs. Detroit, so the Warriors will open the playoffs against the Clippers.
Warriors vs. LA Clippers in the first round, match-up is set.
Kevin Durant's dunk puts Oklahoma City up by 1 point as the Warriors await their first-round opponent.
Oklahoma City has the ball and is down by 1 point to Detroit with 18.9 seconds remaining. The Warriors await their first-round opponent.
Inactive former Warriors guard Nate Robinson tells the Pepsi Center crowd the Nuggets will try to kick the Warriors' butts tonight.
Nate Robinson is addressing the Denver crowd while wearing a fake mustache in honor of head athletic trainer Jim Gillen's final game.
The Warriors will have Jordan Crawford and Ognjen Kuzmic available off the bench. I assume Draymond Green will dress, but not play.
GSW at DEN starters: GSW -- Blake, Thompson, Barnes, Speights, Armstrong; DEN -- Brooks, Foye, Miller, Faried, Mozgov. Out: Everybody else.
Mark Jackson on Andrew Bogut: "We're going with the mindset that he'll be out" for the playoffs. Still indefinite officially.
Nemanja Nedovic (calf) will not play tonight. I think the Warriors are down to six guys.
Nemanja Nedovic out with a calf injury.
Denver coach Brian Shaw said LAC's sixth-15th players consist of a bunch of guys who could be starters or major contributors on other teams.
Y'all some impatient...
Whether the Warriors play the Thunder or the Clippers in the first round of the playoffs, they'll open the series Saturday.
Code coming at 3pm pacific time.
I thought Ibanez got that one
what carries a story? words & ideas presented in a way that engage a listeners' emotions...aim for the heart
I think Warriors fans would be happy with a mix of all three--Tolbert for home games, Barry/Barnett splitting most of the roadies.
Warriors have eyed Tom Tolbert or Brent Barry for the analyst slot, but neither at this point might be able to commit to a full season.
If this Jim's last game, he will be missed. But as others have reported, I suspect Barnett won't totally disappear from GSW broadcasts.
Warriors head coach Mark Jackson made sure none of his guys were chasing any important stats/incentives before deciding to sit his regulars.
Festus Ezeli is doing post-shootaround moves on the block vs. a ghost.
A group of Warriors have been trying to lob a ball over a rafter and into the hoop for about 10 minutes. Klay walked up and made his 1st try
No Stephen Curry, David Lee, Andre Iguodala, Jermaine O'Neal. Probably no Klay Thompson, Draymond Green.
Bogut and O'Neal did not travel with the Warriors to Denver.
Blake, Crawford, Barnes, Speights and Armstrong will start for the Warriors vs. Denver.
Curry, Iguodala and Lee will sit tonight. Thompson and Green most likely will sit, according to Jackson.
And yes, there is a chance they'll do it again and put Smith back out there at some point in 2014, but that is not the outcome I'd predict.
On the thought that 49ers should just give Smith another chance: They've done that, and done that, and done that, and done that...
Andrew Bogut to be reevaluated after week of being house ridden. "I'm not going to put basketball ahead of my life as much as I'd like to."
Andrew Bogut told KNBR a Clippers series is "going to be a bloodbath probably" with "probably some casualties."
I also think players do care less about winning now than in past. Used to be about being best player, now about getting into NBA lifestyle.
Andrew Bogut told KNBR Mark Jackson has done a "great job" and that the 50-win celebration showed "we have his back as much as he has ours."
All right, I'm out. Gotta put in my false teeth, grab my cane and head to some whale-watching. I'll try to come back with better attitude!
Andrew Bogut hurting enough where on his KNBR show yesterday Tom Tolbert promised no jokes so Bogut wouldn't laugh.
Also, the NFL and 49ers cannot both suspend/penalize a player for the same violation.
Without a pending suspension, 49ers would face a release/don't release decision soon after April 29 hearing. But they will wait for NFL, too
On the 49ers/Aldon Smith timeline, repeated: They are fully expecting an NFL suspension, which will give them a period to assess everything.
Nothing I care less about than a highlight of guy "breaking someone's ankles" in a game his team lost. Who cares?
Just for reference, here are the Warriors' figures whose contracts are set to expire after next season: Bob Myers, Mark Jackson, Jerry West.
