Every time it's a Raiders fan with the racist stuff. EVERY time.
Just found a $10 bill near the Dodgers' clubhouse. Nobody around. I took it and it'll be like Brian Wilson buying me lunch tomorrow.
Peavy: “I can get much better and I expect to be much better. Gotta pick the boys up there in the fifth. Gotta make some better pitches."
Giants get swept, now 1.5 games behind LA, but SFGs have Bumgarner and Hudson going the next two days vs. PIT.
THAT was overpowering stuff. Nobody's hitting that guy when he's at 95 with movement.
Last 4 Wilson fastballs were 92-89-92-92 on the AT&T gun, so he loosened up a little. But still not your classic power arm there.
Brian Wilson topping out at 89 mph is... just a guy with a big beard and so-so stuff, mostly.
And here's Brian Wilson. The AT&T crowd notices.
I'll probably do a Q&A on during this flight so I can stay awake... Stay tuned it's been a long while
Been traveling for 24 hrs straight from Shenzhen, China to Detroit... Now on about to take off to Vegas... The grind must continue...
Machi now pitching, Peavy went 6 innings, 102 pitches.
Peavy immediately gets the long leash from Bochy... and gets through the 6th.
Finally bullpen activity. Bochy held back for a long time. It's Javier Lopez.
I like how Crawford was about to just stand there and watch it sail, then decided to at least give chase hahahaha
Peavy and Posey just looked off-rhythm--Peavy wasn't looking when Posey had to double-clutch the throw-back, the wild-pitches, everything...
Nobody up yet in Giants' pen.
That was a wild play--and Dee Gordon had it all the way. Watched him measure it up and then go.
That dude is so fast
Peavy has skipped two pitches and Posey one throw-back in this inning.
Uggla at 2B, Morse in LF, you are clearly tempting fate with that tandem in the field.
That's the Giants' first run against a Dodgers starter in this series--18 scoreless vs. Greinke/Kershaw/Ryu before that.
Up here in the pressbox, we can hear Peavy's grunts and bellows. Most audible Giants pitcher since Brad Penny.
Peavy's strategy is to get the Dodgers to keep hitting it to Uggla?
Peavy is wearing No. 43 which is famous for being the number Matt Cain wore as a rookie in 2005. Or maybe not so famous.
The 49ers should trade for Marshawn Lynch, obviously.
Oh Emergency Exit row..we meet again http://t.co/7qLFQrX5vJ
Last Bochy: "It’s not the end-all, but at the same time you’d like to get on track... not just at home but playing the Dodgers."
Bochy: "I think it’d be pretty critical, there’s no getting around that. This is a huge game...
Obvious question alert: I asked Bochy how vital it'd be to avoid getting swept by the Dodgers tonight... He didn't swat it away...
Bochy on Jake Peavy: "He’s a very, very intense player... If I could compare him to somebody, he’s almost like a Hunter Pence on the mound."
Bruce Bochy said he wasn't tempted to set his rotation to get Bumgarner and Hudson into this series. Wanted them right away out of AS Break.
You could love love or hate love. Pick a side!
Bout to renig like a bad spades hand...
I think it's pretty logical that everybody involved in the steroid era overlooked hints and evidence to some degree. We don't know how much.
facts tell stories sell
Don't know how this will turn out, but Sandy Alderson's action/inaction should definitely definitely be part of the steroid-era discussion.
I realize many fans have blind faith in their heroes. My job is not to have blind faith in anything. You don't like it, I can live with it.
But as you'd expect from a red-shirt 2nd-year player, Carradine sometimes looks tentative. He stumbled & slipped way too much yesterday.
One thing I forgot to note in the 49ers activity yesterday: DL Tank Carradine looks like he gets real leverage out there. Strong guy...
If the main sell of a tour you are looking at is the shopping and theme parks, well, there is your answer. Research and ask questions.......
We get asked by a lot of parents about "USA Basketball Tours" and which one's are good/bad, and what level of competition is like. Well....
Gramps and lil sis
The certainty of the "Get Love at all costs" crowd is tough to listen to. It's a tough one, not a no-brainer.
Felt pretty good being surrounded by kids today. Does that mean in ready?
Baalke said he would not speak about Alex Boone's holdout, but said he believes Joe Looney has shown he can play guard in the NFL.
Baalke said he doesn't know when Aldon Smith will speak to Roger Goodell; also said Jed York has spoken to Goodell about Smith.
Baalke said he expects the NFL's decision on Aldon Smith to come down relatively soon, perhaps even before the start of exhibition season.
Trent Baalke makes his first visit to the Levi's media room (don't hold your breath for Harbaugh's first one)... http://t.co/ThkWGBor5t
Much more explosive passing day than in Day 1, with Crabtree, Boldin, Stevie Johnson and Quinton Patton all catching big passes.
Lots of interesting RBs but that #21 guy endures. No big blitz-drills that I saw, so it's hard to judge Hyde and James' blocking.
