Steve Kerr told reporters about Andre Iguodala dealing with bench role experiment: "He's handling it unbelievably well."
2014 playoff team with by far the worst regular-season record in 1-run games: The A's at 21-28.
In the postseason, KC is 4-0 in 1-run games and the Giants are 4-1.
Weird stat: Both the Giants and Royals had losing records in 1-run games this regular-season.
Warriors power forward David Lee said he's got a couple dozen family members making the four-hour trek from St. Louis to Kansas City.
Warriors wing Brandon Rush has already purchased 24 tickets, and he's looking for more as he returns to Kansas City.
People get mad at so many odd things on Twitter.
Breaking my pledge to stay off local radio until '16... I'll be on KNBR in about 15 mins w/the afternoon co-hosts, I forget their names.
Steve Kerr on Andre Iguodala: "I don't know if he's going to start, but I know he's going to be in there for us at the end (of games)."
Mo Speights is in Florida for his grandfather's funeral. He's expected to rejoin the team for Sunday's game vs. Houston.
As expected, Andrew Bogut and David Lee will be back in the lineup tonight vs. Miami. Kerr is still trying to decide whether to sit Iguodala
It took me a couple of hours, by I finally found an ode to the World Series-bound Kansas City Royals. http://t.co/Yi7xr4TjKx
NFC West teams aren't boring. Well, except the Rams.
Sometimes a guy who can do all the exotic things just doesn't want to do the regular things--like run a route correctly in time with his QB.
I noted there were issues in Seattle a few weeks ago and got some people got upset with me. No way I expected this, though.
Steve Kerr called for his first technical foul in the third quarter, putting Warriors down by 14 points. Warriors go on to beat Denver.
Last night a homeless man pushing cart near AT&T screamed toward crowd of fans "I wanna get wasted too! Go Giants!" Someone gave him a beer
Monkey see... Monkey do
One of Bochy's greatest strengths is that he manages the playoffs very differently, but his players feel he's treating them the same.
Bochy out-maneuvered everybody on that list possibly except Leyland. Could Yost be the toughest match-up? Did I just type that?
Bochy has faced Cox, Manuel, Washington, Baker, Matheny, Leyland, Hurdle, Williams and Matheny again in playoff match-ups. Now it's Yost.
If Vogelsong pitches well in Game 4, Bochy has Petit to use whenever. If Vogelsong doesn't pitch well, Bochy still has Petit to go long.
Think of the Wacha move this way: Would Bruce Bochy have ever put his season in the hands of pitcher who hadn't yet pitched in the series?
Going to sleep now; I know I'll have nightmares about canceling the wrong flight and discovering I'm late for a 6 am flight to Baltimore.
Why I think Lincecum probably keeps his spot: I don't see Bochy going w/less than 12 pitchers & #55 is still likely ahead of other relievers
Now the curious question: Does Lincecum get a spot on the World Series roster? I'd think yes, but it's not 100% after 0 appearances so far.
But yeah, I'd expect Bumgarner to be the guy in Game 1. He's the leader of the staff, he deserves it and you know he'll want it.
So it'll probably be Bumgarner/Peavy in Games 1 and 2, Hudson in Game 3 and Vogelsong in Game 4. Similar or identical to the NLCS order.
It'll depend on how Bumgarner feels over the next few days. If he's a little fatigued, they can give him Game 2 on extra rest.
Remember, the Giants can go with Bumgarner on regular rest for Game 1 in KC on Tuesday. But they might consider flipping Peavy in there...
It all started with Zito: The Giants have won 7 of their last 8 NLCS games, all vs. St. Louis.
There is intimidation in that. It's a different kind of intimidation, but it's real and the Giants have it. But the Royals have had it, too.
But Matheny probably felt what I felt last night & now: Whatever he did, in a tight game, the Giants were going to figure out how to win.
SFG bullpen was tired, Matheny probably should've bet on just extending the game as long as possible. That means go with your best.
Could say a lot about Matheny's decisions in this one--going with Wacha, not Rosenthal, in the 9th was very questionable...
Iguodala joked to reporters coming off bench "sucks." "gonna have a long talk w/ Coach. I'm tired of it..not going to put up w/ it anymore."
Kakva je ovo organizacija...pre sat vremena nam se zavrsila utakmica u jednom gradu, sad smo vec u drugom koji je 500 km udaljen
No NLCS clinching is complete without this message: Your trip has been successfully cancelled.
Dry run like the store was closed. No beer was gonna touch me yo/ Their aim was off, their spray slow, and I was dodging droplets like Neo

Wish we could be here longer but the preseason continues. Thank you to everyone once again. Wheels up to KC ✈️✈️
I want to thank everyone that came out tonight. The support from the state has been unbelievable since I left HS n dont take it for granted
It's a blessing to come back home and see old friends and family. Never thought I'd have the opportunity to play here in an NBA uniform.
How many Bumgarner going to be throwing down at one time tonight? He's gotta do six, right?
Let's see if I can avoid getting drenched in beer
Why was Wacha still in there. He was clearly done
You knew it was coming. Just a matter of how. This time, it was Ishikawa
All they do is hit homers. My God, this team.
Everybody go crazy.
This game's so good I forgot I have to write a column. Fairly soon and very quickly.
It'll be Wacha to start the bottom of the 9th vs. Sandoval, Pence Belt.
I think Posey sort of requested this pitching change. Affeldt now in.
Wacha is already at 70 pitches and he hasn't pitched yet.
Bourjos is on-deck due to the double-switch.
For those who didn't see, grounder deflected off Panda's glove. Crawford, backing him up, got it and STILL got throw to 2B in time for out
What a play by Crawford to get the force
Since no one was up, Casilla pretty much has to get Wong out.
And Strickland heading to the pen again.
Now Affeldt heading to the bullpen.
Giants bullpen is quiet. For now, this is Casilla's inning.
Wacha joins Rosenthal in the STL pen.
Morse HR ties the game and also means it's Casilla pitching in the 9th, not Strickland.
