HoopsHype Golden State Warriors twitter
Mark Jackson: “With all due respect to (Miami and Indiana), when we play our best basketball, we can beat anybody. ... "
Jermaine O'Neal: "In my dream scenario, the Golden State Warriors would be playing against the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Finals."
Stephen Curry: "He made every play in the fourth quarter. I owe Klay about seven dinners tonight."
Klay Thompson: "That’s when basketball is at its best, possession by possession with teams swinging huge blows. We got the last one."
Klay Thompson: “That’s why we play: to fight, to score, to win."
Great team win tonight!!! I Appreciate all the birthday love!!! Right back it tomorrow in Boston
Mark Jackson on the up-and-down Warriors being able to win or lose facing any team on any given night: "If you're with us, be with us."
If I had watched it live, I woulda called that ... Big win for Warriors. It only matters if they win at Boston to close the trip
Wow. George almost LeBron'd the Warriors
What an awful possession by Indiana. A fade-away, defended 3 at the end of the shot clock????
Geez, Steph ... It is Paul George, but maaaan
Indiana flipped that switch quick. Wow. ... Warriors played into their hands slowing it up
Andre Iguodala said it was his right index finger that was dislocated. It looks pretty gnarly.
West took Curry's cookies at halfcourt. But I am more surprised by the (relatively) quick timeout from Mark Jackson?
What's gotten into Klay? Geez. He's looking like a beast! (I'm at 5:58 mark of 4th)
Andre Iguodala had his dislocated finger popped back into place, and the X-rays were negative.
Andre Iguodala had dislocated finger but popped back in and x ray negative.
Problem Warriors may have in end is they're guard/perimeter oriented & yet they can be pressured.
Do I have major questions about some things Jackson does? Of course I do. But he is who he is... Can't say "bad strategy/great win." I won't
No sense in focusing on minuses. Not when you win a game in Indiana. Went to right matchup with Klay at end.
It's unbelievable I have to say this now, but: It's Mark Jackson's 100% confidence in his players that can lead to a win like this.
I am still in third quarter, but @TimKawakami tweets are making me want to fast forward
Blame Mark Jackson.
No, the fact that Indiana is turning it up at home--and that Indiana is great--is probably not all Mark Jackson's fault.
Iguodala taped up, back on the bench.
Andre Iguodala just went to the locker room with what looked like a dislocated finger.
Andre Iguodala heads to locker room with an apparent finger injury.
No DLee or Bogut to close this, maybe?
Jermaine O'Neal: +15 so far. My goodness.
About to watch warriors game
Was thinking it just as Jim Barnett was saying it: This is fun basketball to watch. (If you respect defense.) GSWs and Indy are D-ing up.
David Guthrie just warned Lance Stephenson about flopping after the Indy guard pretended that an Andrew Bogut elbow caught him in the chin.
I just noticed that Andrew Bogut is wearing a protective pad on his right knee, but he seems to moving OK.
Andrew Bogut is rubbing his right knee on the Warriors' bench. He's getting checked out by head athletic trainer JoHan Wang.
David Lee inadvertently caught Roy Hibbert with a hand to the face as they competed for the rebound. The physicality is heating up.
Lance Stephenson and Jordan Crawford got into a little jarring match, which earned Crawford a technical and only seemed to ignite more talk.
Lance Stephenson is the lone starter from either team who remains on the court to start the second quarter.
Jermaine O'Neal checks in for David Lee, who has two quick fouls. O'Neal gets a nice ovation in Indy, where he was a six-time All-Star.
Andrew Bogut won two jumps balls against Roy Hibbert in a matter of 17 seconds.
Stephen Curry has yet another style of Under Armour shoes -- this time celebrating Mardi Gras. http://t.co/reeIcL2cTB
Golden State is wearing its "Los Warriors" shooting shirts for tonight's pregame warmups vs. Indiana.
Lock in! "Dubnation"
GSW at IND starters: GSW -- Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, Lee, Bogut; IND -- Hill, Stephenson, George, West, Hibbert. Out: Ezeli.
Warriors head coach Mark Jackson said Jermaine O'Neal will be back in his usual role -- first big man off the bench -- tonight vs. Indiana.
Indiana coach Frank Vogel on Steph Curry: "He's one of the scariest guys to prepare for in the NBA."
Pacers coach Frank Vogel recognizes Stephen Curry as one if best passers in the game and scariest players to prep for.
Yes, it's time to blame the media for anything that doesn't portray Jim Harbaugh as infallible. Can't blame me, I always say he's the Pope.
Slated to talk with Travis Rodgers on KLAA/Yahoo Radio around 9:30. It's not Premiere Radio, darn it! Of course I'll never do Premiere Radio
If you want me fired, get in line. If you're a Premiere Radio producer in LA and want me punched by a team official... great stuff!
Warriors say Piers 30/32 project is "full-steam ahead." They also say open to "Plan B (with Giants. Isn't it one or other?
Warriors' most favorable 1st-round matchup is Portland. GSW, unlikely to get to No.5, needs Blazers to stay top 3. Gonna be tough.
(And he still hasn't text-messaged me.)
Jim Harbaugh is just so damn smart--what he says, what he doesn't say, what he implies. The guy is good. It's part of why he's a great coach
Harbaugh was always going to coach the 49ers in 2014. Baalke is the GM. This is Harbaugh cutting through the junk to that unchanged reality
And I thought the recent report that he and Baalke don't speak was far from accurate. Harbaugh has a right to be bothered by that.
But I totally believe Harbaugh has never said he wants to be the highest-paid coach in the NFL. I believe his agent wants that, though.
Don't know why Harbaugh & York talked about an extension last off-season, then. Or why there should be any talks this off-season about it.
On the Harbaugh comments: Glad he spoke. He's put himself on the line--he says he doesn't want an extension & will stay thru last 2 years.
Pulled a Roger Maris huh...
Nemanja Nedovic is healthy enough now to be assigned to Santa Cruz.
The Warriors do not anticipate signing Hilton Armstrong past his 10-day contact and have invited him to return to Santa Cruz.
Love it when fans deride unnamed sources on stories they dislike, then rush to believe every positive note possible, also from the unnamed.
Just got excused from jury duty. Was looking forward to rendering a verdict after listening to 2 squabbling parties... Oh wait.
There's friction. There'll be an end point to Harbaugh/Baalke/York. But players only care about THIS year and 49ers are status quo for that.
So obviously Boldin really seemed to be worried about the 49ers "chaos." Couldn't take it. Re-signed before hitting free agency. Yep.
Negotiations take time. QB long-term negotiations can take a long, long time. I realize everyone must panic every second, though.
Great Twitter panic about Kaepernick. Folks, if there's no extension, he still can be franchise-tagged in 2015 and '16. Settle down.
You can't do deals--on either side--based on what Bay Area talk-radio is screaming. Actually, should do the opposite almost always.
One key point on 49ers/Kaepernick negotiations: He is by far his agency's biggest client. XAM Sports will be very careful on this one.
