Warriors I believe are now 572-0 with Lee in the lineup.
A real reader-comment on my blog, just because --> "David Lee comes back. Warriors win. Kawakami looks ridiculous. Again."
Warriors-Clippers first round series is going to be epic
For the Warriors to get 5 seed, POR would have to lose both its remaining games and GSWs would have to win all 3 left (including Sun @ POR).
Warriors clinch a playoff spot.Very likely to be the 6th seed in the West and draw 3 seed LACs in the first round.
Mark Jackson got a handshake and a hug from Joe Lacob as the Warriors have clinched a playoff spot.
David Lee ends his scoring drought, connecting on a right-handed hook after missing his first five shots.
Stephen Curry missed a breakaway dunk, but gets a 3-pointer instead on the possession.
Stephen Curry missed the breakaway dunk and then drained a three-pointer after the offensive rebound.
Nice ovation at Staples as Steve Blake checks in for the Warriors.
GSW at LAL starters: GSW -- Curry, Thompson, Barnes, Green, Bogut; LAL -- Marshall, Meeks, Johnson, Hill, Sacre. GSW Out: Iguodala/O'Neal.
The Warriors are 7-9 without Andre Iguodala this season and 20-13 without Jermaine O'Neal.
I'm not in LA but still a guaranteed 20-20 for my guy DLee.
Jermaine O'Neal out with left knee injury, Andre Iguodala out to rest.
Andre Iguodala is sitting as a precaution for his right knee tendinitis. Jermaine O'Neal is out with a sore left knee.
Andre Iguodala and Jermaine O'Neal will miss the back-to-back set in LA tonight. Andrew Bogut will play.
David Lee said he's not 100 percent yet, but he thinks he's healthy enough to help.
David Lee (right leg nerve inflammation) said he's going to give it a go tonight. He's missed the past seven games.
Mark Jackson said David Lee will come off the bench if he's able to play tonight vs. the Lakers.
David Lee would come off the bench tonight.
Mark Jackson hasn't talked to Steve Nash since he passed him on assists list. "No, Steve ignores my texts," Jackson joked.
David Lee expected to play.
Mark Jackson said David Lee is expected to play tonight vs. the Lakers.
It's not like they were powering into the playoffs in 2013.... And in the same period this season, GSWs are 1-1 with 4 games to play.
Warriors went 3-3 in their final 6 regular-season games last year and went 1-3 from April 7 to April 12 before winning their last 2.
One thing I learned during my few police beat shifts long ago: Police reports are not evidence.
Always nice to provide Bay Area talk-radio with material. Even nicer if they would understand what I actually said but oh well.
Now if you say a healthy DLee means the Warriors don't have to play Speights at all, yes, that's a HUGE plus. That wasn't my point, however.
Since the issue has been brought up in anti-me rants: The Warriors almost always pull DLee off the floor in end-game defensive possessions.
3) DLee has many, many, many, many very passionate fans, yes, I've always known that. This is Monta-level GSW-fan love.
One more time: 1) I never said DLee was a worse than Draymond; I said Green fit better w/Bogut; 2) If I say that, it's NOT ripping DLee...
OK the window is now closed on exaggerated, frothing rants about things I never actually said about DLee. Gave you guys more than 12 hours.
Does Hertl go right back onto the top line with Thornton and Burns or maybe worked in on the third line to start?
Am I crazy for thinking if had an $18-$20M contract at stake, I'd be a celibate, sober recluse until my deal was signed?
So, with Mitch Richmond, I see elite offensive player and elite defensive player. Well-deserved!!
Defense is half the game, people, and Mitch Richmond was one of best perimeter defenders in his day.
For those saying Mitch Richmond maybe not worthy of HOF. What about being one of greatest defensive two guards in history? Ask Jordan.
In troubled waters, gotta learn how to float!
The gods have spoken... Can you her me now?
Steph Curry sold his condo today and thought he made the game-winning, playoff-clinching shot with tonight. It should have been a great day.
The rage begins. FYI: I never said that DLee is a bad player. But if that's what want to believe, I'll give you the next 12 hours to say it.
About to watch
Didn't plan to write anything on this game and probably will just post a blank item and let DLee fans/Mark Jackson anti-fans rant.
Wish what I wrote on David Lee/Draymond Green would have dropped before game. In any event, still works and coming early tomorrow.
I haven't watched game yet but let me guess: 2nd unit stunk and played too long, Klay missed a lot of jumpers, other team outworked them
Faried didn't do that one time in the playoffs last season. Fantastic move, skill, guts.
The play is called: "Steph Don't You Dare Pass It."
I'm not sure what's in the clear cup Lacob's got under his seat, but I hope for his sake it's 80 proof or more.
Just looked over to see Joe Lacob holding his head in his right hand during this timeout.
Wow, what a terrible Warriors performance. No matter how this ends, just awful.
That was legitimately quality D by Klay, getting over Mozgov's screen, moving feet to force Fournier's travel.
Apparently, it was a good thing for Golden State that Mozgov didn't play in last year's Nuggets-Warriors series.
What do the Warriors do when they have 3 days off? Inject concrete into their legs? So, so slow tonight.
Maybe it's predictable: Warriors are 2-3--including losses to MIN and CHA--when they've had 3+ days off between games. 3 days off this time.
Important win but we have to forget this game as soon as possible, we still have a long way to go...
OK, this is officially "Theater of the Absurd"-level basketball.
Morse straight muscled that
Faried's mammoth jam cuts W's lead to 8 ... Reminiscent of Rocky. "He doesn't know it's a damn show. He thinks it's a damn fight."
