HoopsHype Golden State Warriors twitter
Just showed the Auburn game-winning TD on Stanford video screen, and the crowd likes it. And stunned, too.
Last two Auburn victories have been not boring.
Straight like that?????????
Looks like Trent Baalke & almost the entire 49ers personnel department is here. They don't trust my evaluations! Or I charge too much
TWO Heisman throws in one half?
On air a few weeks ago, @toddhusak and I argued about Auburn's credibility. I said Auburn was good. Todd, your thoughts?
Asked Trent Baalke in Wash DC--horrible press box--about "our seats" in new Santa Clara stadium and he said he knows HIS seat will be great.
Very light NFL scout presence here at Stanford-Notre Dame. Presume they'll just be using my Tweets for their draft evaluations. /kidding
Oops. All that razzle-dazzle all game long, then that... But it happens.
This, by the way, is a case when I LOVE going for 2. (As opposed to other times.)
Nista gore nego kad se probudis uz ovakve vesti...brz oporavak Luka!
stories teach unite and motivate by transporting audiences emotionally
Some people just have to believe I'm writing negatively, even when I'm very much not. It must make them feel better?
Crawford with 31 and 11 ... Wonder if Doc will put the ball will be in his hands more
Tough tough tough. His foot on the line tho?
Kevin Durant on OKC-GSW: "You can tell this is starting to build into something real cool between us two teams."
Kevin Durant on GSW: “You can tell this is starting to build up into something real cool between us two. We’ll see how it goes.”
Steph on HB:"He was amazing. He’s stepping up huge in Andre’s absence, and even when Andre comes back, he’s going to have to play like that."
Klay on Harrison Barnes:"He was stellar on defense, even better on offense. That’s what we expect. He’s got all of the talent in the world."
D-Lee: “It doesn’t really matter. This is the same as getting beat by 50 in the win-loss column. We needed to find a way to pull this out."
Steph Curry: “It makes it hurt even more. You know that you gave up an opportunity. We’re way past moral victories for this organization.”
None of the Warriors wanted to talk about the moral victory of taking OKC into overtime on its home court, a place it hasn't lost in 13-14.
Mark Jackson on final play: “Russell wanted the basketball more than anybody else on the floor. He had great will and he made a big play."
Lee: "...Can't believe they saved it w/o going out of bounds. Can't believe he hit a shot fading away in the corner. Tough break."
Lee: "It's just that much more frustrating we were so close. All it took was a rebound. Can't believe we lost the ball out of our hands..."
Curry: "For us to be short-handed and still find a way to be one rebound away ... that kind of make it hurts even more."
I've witnessed more buzzerbeating shots in a month in the NBA, than in Europe for the last 5 years... Tough loss but great effort!
But Oregon St's first failed 2-pt try came w/11:05 left. A hundred possible permutations from there, not just one that did.
I'm not even gonna comment on the stuff that was called the last few mins
Curry: "We're past moral victories in this organization."
Oh by the way, Oregon State went for 2 and failed twice in the 4th quarter... and lost to Oregon by 1... Don't chase points!
One thing about OKC that MJax and Lacob must love: OKC has a ton of guys who just stand around on offense, so DLee can be assigned to them.
Might've been better for the Warriors to have a more athletic line-up out there for the scramble... but they don't do that these days.
It's a 3 for Westbrook
Was Westrbook's foot on the line?
Westbrook knocked that rebound loose... and gets to the corner and of course nails the 3. Nobody can match-up with that guy.
Did Klay just let it go out of bounds? My view was obstructed. Couldn't tell if he could have just grabbed it
You just knew Barnes was taking a jumper there ...
Durant's J rolls out and Lee grabs huge rebound. Warriors ball up two with 38 seconds left
Going one-on-one with Lamb, he dropped in the reverse layup past Ibaka. Warriors lead 112-110 with 45.1 left
Curry misses open 3 ... Durant hits J ... Curry misses runner. OKC ball up 110-106
Mark Jackson's devotion to David Lee tonight is 100%. Lee's shooting percentage is slightly less than that.
At least Lee went up strong that time ... still would like to see a hard pump fake
Durant falls in the lap of two ladies court side and just marinates there for a minute
Bogut fouls out trying to block Westbrook's dunk ... O'Neal checks in
Andrew Bogut just fouled out on what might have been a relatively clean blocked shot of Russell Westbrook.
Durant misses chance at a payback. His step-back one-footer rims out. Overtime. ... Somewher @Andre Iguodala gave a fist pump
Sefolosha called for an over-the-back. Lee to the FT line with Warriors down 104-103 ... he misses the first
KD hits a pair of FTs ... Curry answers with a leaning back under pressure ... 103-102 Warriors
Warriors are 16 of 24 from the line ... in a close game
If David Lee would ever just pump fake ... Ibaka gets the block on one end and the dunk on the other, tying the game at 100
Bogut splits the FTs ... 100-96 Warriors with 2:39 left
Ibaka FTs cuts Warriors lead to 99-96 ... OKC starts the Hack-a-Bogut strategy
That's a regular-season career-high 22 points for Harrison Barnes, and he's done it on 13 field-goal attempts.
Steph Curry needs an endorsement deal with Vitamix the way he just put Ibaka in a blender and stuck the J
Barnes is just a grown man tonight
Back to back baskets by Barnes, out of the post, puts Warriors up 94-92
The Warriors seem to have remembered that they have Harrison Barnes.
It went from 100 decibels to 2 after Curry's driving layup. And the foul.
Lamb 3 ties game at 88 inside of 8 minutes left
Warriors run a great play out of the timeout, getting a dunk for Barnes to reclaim lead
Jackson tried to buy a couple minutes to start the third and the bench - which was good in the 2Q - didn't deliver
Perfect time for a Speights jumper, if you're the Thunder
Barnes' first shot in forever and he settles for a jumper. ... OKC scores first 5 of 3rd to cut GSW lead to 1
Harrison Barnes looked unstoppable in starting the game 5-fo-7, so, of course, he's gotten two touches in the past 14 minutes.
End 3Q: GSW 82, OKC 76. Curry 21/6/4. Thompson 15 and 4 ast. Bogut 13 and 7. OKC - Westbrook 25. Durant/Ibaka 20 and 14 combined
Westbrook trying to will his team back into control of the game
Lee's finally gets first basket of the game. He's now 1 of 7 with 6 points and 8 rebounds
Draymond Green had his 1-on-3 break interrupted by Mark Jackson's timeout. Dang. He was about to take off on somebody!! lol
Klay's 2nd 3 puts Warriors up 72-63 ...
THERE YOU GO KLAY!!
Klay hits his first 3 of the night
If your center throws you a left-handed, behind-the-back pass, you must make the shot.
Westbrook gets burned every time he reached. He's athletic enough to stay in front without that
Klay turnaround, followed by a KD missed 3, followed by a Bogut hook, puts GSW up 59-55 with 8:36 left in 3rd
Kendrick Perkins dislocated left ring finger. Will not return, OKC announced
Kendrick Perkins has a dislocated left ring finger and will not return, according to OKC PR.
Curry's first assist of the night as a pretty drive-and-slip to Bogut after beating Westbrook off the dribble. Warriors lead 55-54
