That there is rage about David Shaw's coaching talent... is... well, interesting. The Walt Harris Fan Club?
And Shaw and his family love the Bay Area. But I'm not sure David wants to keep following Harbaugh. Might want his own trail into the NFL.
you are pre-wired for story, but you must turn it on
What's the more awkward relationship--Harbaugh/Baalke or Ellen/Liza? Dennis O'Donnell & I discuss at 11:30 pm on Channel 5. Well, sort of.

Not all great plays end up in the stat sheet!
Blake's smartest, toughest & best ballhandler of Warriors' guards. He's gonna have to play with Curry late.
But I will be ready to help my team try and get a tuff win against one of the leagues best on Tuesday! (Bottle the anger and release it tue!
To help them battle for a win during a very important part of our season! Words just can not explain how I feel right now.
And believe me when I tell you that there isn't a person in the country more upset than me about not being able to be with my team tonight
As a leader, businessman, and father, I pride myself off being responsible, professional, and prompt! I did not leave or lose my passport!!!
Curry with six TOs final 17 minutes, GSW with three straight TOs at crunch time ... Going to need to finish with Blake.
Only 7 of the Warriors' final 22 games are against teams in the top 14 in the Hollinger defensive efficiency ratings.
Tough loss for Warriors. Now looking at a 3-3 road trip
No Jermaine O'Neal, yet still no Speights in the 2nd half. And no Crawford in 2nd half, either. Revamped GSW bench still a little vampless.
a purposeful story is a call to action—be sure to make your call
Still only down 6 ... If they can stop it here, they're fine
Warriors falling apart on defense
Toronto's a tricky match-up for the Warriors. MUCH better without Gay and Bargnani.
Been flipping back and forth to the golf all day just to see that shot. McIlroy. That's why.
The 5th foul from Klay was a good thing. He wasn't playing well
Klay Thompson picks up his fourth personal foul 1:07 into the second half.
Mo Speights is showing off his half-court range during pregame warmups. He has one of the more effortless long-range jumpers in the league.
Stephen Curry is going to wear metallic gold Under Armour sneakers today, an ode to the Oscars. He had 44 points in his Grammy shoes at Utah

Mark Jackson says the team isn't sure if Jermaine O'Neal's passport was lost or stolen. Issue wasn't discovered until yesterday afternoon.
Terrence Ross (ankle) is out for today's game vs. the Warriors. Toronto coach Dwane Casey hasn't named a replacement starter yet.
Terrence Ross out for the Raptors. Warriors catch a break.
Jermaine O'Neal not with team due to passport issue.

Dwane Casey on Steph Curry: "He's a one-man wrecking crew. ... He's within his (shooting) range anywhere in the gym."
Terrence Ross (ankle) is doing some pregame work in hopes of playing today vs. the Warriors. He'll be a game-time decision.

Jermaine O'Neal is not with the Warriors in Toronto, because of a passport issue. He'll rejoin the team in Indianapolis for Tuesday's game.
Warriors at Raptors officials: Dick Bavetta, Joe Crawford and Pat Fraher.
But the Warriors have been much worse at home and better on the road than I expected. For now, same difference.
Mark Jackson told Warriors TV he's already defeated Harrison Barnes in a 3-point shooting contest.
Nike Elite didn't have my size in these shoes I just tried to order... HA

The Sixers got that dude a ... boat? lol
Much respect to Iverson for thanking the local media and respecting that aspect of his career
Philly fans can learn a thing or two from the Bay about booing owners
Defense is 50% of the game. It's not measured in individual points/rebounds in a box score. That's why we look for other methods.
I never say W's and L's or +/- are the only measure of a player's value. But when I say they're part of it beyond pts/rebs, people go nuts.
Really is interesting how resistant some NBA fans are to any stat that isn't points/rebs. Such as: Wins and losses. Or score of the game.
don't leave home without it. . . your story, that is
IMO, if there's one part of basketball that affects the outcome more than most, it's good defensive rotation. Just look at the Bulls.
Even in the middle of stats explosion, many NBA fans still don't care about individual defense, and especially help defense. Not in boxscore
This is a subject that almost nobody will possibly compromise on, I know. If you love Carmelo, you disregard everything I said. Understood.
I'm not saying Iguodala is more valuable than Carmelo. Just pointing out they're 100% opposites in the pts/rebs vs. everything else polarity
Both are valuable. But Carmelo is celebrated by those who believe points/rebs are everything... Iguodala mostly by the Defense Matters Club.
Many other factors for both records--Karl/Shaw, Gallinari's health, etc. But still, Carmelo & Iguodala are result-opposites in a few ways.
Just food for thought: DEN had a .576 win percentage the season after it traded Carmelo; DEN currently .439 after losing Iguodala.
Mark Jackson began referencing Detroit and Draymond Green said, "I'm from Saginaw." Green fired up about the contest the whole time.
At one poInt, Mark Jackson began attempting to bank in 3s confident that he had "Barry Bonds" Klay Thompson on his side.
Klay and Mark Jackson beat Mo and Draymond in a post-practice 3-pt contest. Klay did most of the shooting; Coach did most of the taunting.
Mark Jackson & Klay Thompson defeated Draymond Green & Marreese Speights in a trash-talk-filled 3-pt shooting contest. Klay said nothing.

Stephen Curry's one-legged, two-handed dribbling drill. This game is too easy for him. http://t.co/sPzhJxbEMG
Warriors were pretty good on the road last season: 19-22. In the 4 seasons before that, they averaged only 9.25 road wins.
Warriors are currently 18-13 on the road, on pace to finish with 24 road wins, which would tie the franchise record, set in 1991-92.
