Pacers playoffs: 4 things the Indiana needs to do to even their Eastern Conference finals series with the Heat indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/…
U can knee or kick me every time u drive 2the rim. Ill be there 2protect the rim. That wasn't inadvertent. Battier knew what he was doing
Chris Bosh said he was never an option on the final play. "We knew where it was going." VIDEO: on.nba.com/10PmD7h
"I got a lot left in the tank. I'm 23, w/ ambitions of being great in this league so I won't stop til I'll be a first-teamer." - Paul George
Pacers need more out of their backcourt. Hill and Stephenson combined for 12 points (on 4-of-19 FGs) and seven turnovers.
Ray Allen must dread playing the Pacers. After going 1-of-8 in Gm 1, he is now 4-for-24 in 4gms this yr vs the Pacers bit.ly/120xL8E
Of course, people are saying it's cause of LeBron. Those are the same people who said they wouldn't look at the series w/o the Knicks in it
For those saying Pacers would kill TV ratings, Game 1 drew 8.2 million viewers, the highest-rated and most-viewed game of 2013 playoffs.
Vogel on Miami's offense: "They had a more intelligent plan against Roy Hibbert than New York did and we've got to adjust to it." So true
Vogel said they will play zone defense next season. He has always been against it (the Jim O'Brien way) in the past.
The Pacers made plenty of mistakes in their OT loss in Game 1, but the biggest one came on the final possession indy.st/12XTERw
Face it, when Dick Vitale rips your coaching, you've made a grievous error. blogs.1070thefan.com/?p=6290

MT @stephenjnesbitt: What's missing? Oh yes, perhaps the hulking 7-foot-2 frame of Roy Hibbert on defense: http://t.co/SG1UTlUnDI
Paul George and Russell Westbrook are both from Cali. They both - obviously - have some interesting taste in podium game clothe
Hibbert on winning basket: "LeBron’s layup was one I think I could have gotten cause he served it up."
Vogel says he put a switching lineup in, hoping to force a jump shot but LeBron got around PG.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, with a shrug, on Hibbert being out: "I took it for what it was. Regardless, we would have run the same play."

Wednesday, May 22 Hibbert, who Vogel has called "the best rim protector in the league," wasn't on the floor for the Heat's final two buckets.
LeBron gets the ball at the left elbow, takes it right to the hoop and lays it in as time expired. Heat win, 103-102.
After a scuffle with Hill nearly losing the ball, George got it, fired up deep 3-pt. He missed, but was fouled by Wade. 3 shots.
LeBron gets around Hill, who defended him after a switch. Heat lead by two with 10.8 seconds to go.
Why did Paul and Hill switch on that screen? It's Norris Cole, get through screen. LeBron beats Hill off dribble. Heat 101-99 w 10.8 left
LeBron now has a triple-double: 26 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists. Bosh's and-1 evens the game at 99, 49.7 secs.
Since Pacers trailed 80-77, George has 15 of team's 22 points, including and1 that makes it 99-96 with 2:10 left.
Miss @Paul George's 3-pointer to send the game to OT … or want to re-watch it? Here it is: on.nba.com/12Oirsr
Paul George has gone from being a scapegoat to possibly saving the Pacers tonight. He's up 24 pts after his three-point play. Indy 99-96
Another incredible finish at the rim by Paul George. His and-1 puts the Pacers up three, 2:10 left in OT.
Pacers need to start making free throws. West missed 2 to open OT, now Paul George is at the line for 2. Score still tied at 92
Pacers did everything wrong down the stretch but George bails them out with long, off-balance 3, and now I need more coffee.
Allen misses a corner-3 in front of the Heat bench. We're headed to OT. Pacers were 2-3 in extra time during the reg. season.
Get the "beeping, beeping, beeping, beeping, beeping" out of here. Paul George with a 3 from South Beach to tie score at 92 w 0.7 left
Help me out here, they get it inbounds, get into West's hands, so that's when you take your last timeout?
George misses a fadeaway, then gets caught up in the air and throws it away. Pacers up to 19 giveaways. Miami up two, 18.9 secs left.
Wade gets around Young and lays the ball in with his right hand. Miami up two, Pacers ball -- with 36.3 seconds.
Norris Cole reaches up and smacks West in the crotch. Good to know he's learned from Miami veterans.
Paul George connects on a 3pt, pulls the Pacers within one with 3:01 to play. Four Pacers in double figures.
Pacers getting initial stop, but Heat getting second chance opportunities. Down three, Vogel calls timeout.
Interesting that Vogel has Paul George on the bench. PG normally plays the entire fourth quarter when not in foul trouble.
Reggie reports Hill has a jammed toe and suspects that's why he went to the bench early in 4Q.
Pacers did a great job withstanding the Heat's early spurt. IND up 65-64 with one quarter to play. Hansbrough w/ 8pts in the 3rd.
West and Hibbert in foul trouble, Hill and Stephenson playing poor, but Indy still heads into the 4th qtr with a 65-64 lead.
Battier just clotheslined Hansbrough around the neck, yet foul on Tyler. Far too many whistles being blown.
LeBron is the team spokesman for complaining to the refs after his teammates get called for a foul
It's so obvious I can't believe I'm the first to say it: Miami clearly misses Dexter Pittman.
Vogel in timeout: "Everybody take a deep breath and exhale. We are beating ourselves ... Just stay together and play Pacer basketball."
Pacers need one bench guy to give them quality minutes per game. Tonight, it's Hansbrough, who has 6pts, 3rbs, stl in 8mins of work.
What's been worse tonight, Lance Stephenson shooting 3's or Udonis Haslem shooting midrange jumpers?
Dangerous zone for the Pacers. Miami with a 12-2 burst to start the half, now ahead by five. Gotta hold it together.
Here's comes the flurry by the Heat. LeBron w 3 pointer off missed free throw and follow to give Miami 49-44 lead.
Troubling start to the half for the Pacers. West charged with his 4th foul less than two minutes in...
Barkley at halftime: Hibbert was very good, West was spectacular. They just pounded the Heat inside.
Pacers lead the Heat 42-37 at the break. West has 18pts, LeBron w/ 9 - all in the 1Q. West & Stephenson each have 3 fouls.
Pacers head into the half with a 42-37 lead. West w 18 points. Let me know what the TNT boys say at the half
Offensive fouls galore in this one -- this time on Stephenson for putting an arm into Andersen. His third. 25 combined turnovers now.
Lance just picked up his 3rd foul on a nice drive, but he was called for offensive foul for pushing off on Birdman
The Heat are just as sloppy with the ball as the Pacers. The South Florida boys have 13 turnovers.
Big offensive call there - West's third foul. Pacers ahead 39-34 w/ 2:14 left in the half. 28 of IND's 39 pts from West/Hibbert.
David West just picked up his 3rd foul when Haslem "fell" to the ground. Big blow for Indy. West has 18 pts
Interesting the Pacers have been able to build a lead with virtually nothing from Paul George.
