Monty Williams said he once tore his labrum and his injury didn't require surgery. Pels will wait to make determination on Eric Gordon.
Pelicans say Eric Gordon suffered a torn labrum and is out indefinitely.
Former NOLA PF Jason Smith suffered a torn labrum 2 years ago and needed season-ending surgery. Gordon likely would require surgery.
Gordon will undergo further evaluation throughout the week to determine the best course of action, the team said.
