Thursday, May 23 And the Warrior? RT @Ethan J. Skolnick Full disclosure: I had a vote, and had LeBron first team, Wade and Bosh 3rd team.
I posted 88 photos on Facebook in the album "Knicks in London, England for NBA London Live" fb.me/1lRRhS6ci
I posted 124 photos on Facebook in the album "Knicks 2012-2013 Season" fb.me/2psfzOkgq
Blake Griffin made second team All NBA. Yes, the same guy from the commercials who has no low post game and can't shoot free throws.
And for those who thought the Knicks should have re-signed David Lee and not pursued Amar'e, guess what? Lee made third team
Third-Team was David Lee, Paul George, Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade and James Harden
Second team was Anthony, Blake Griffin, Marc Gasol, Russell Westbrook and Tony Parker
No one from the Heat media received a vote for All-NBA Media. Not a single vote. Even Berman of the Post got a half vote.
As expected, LeBron James and Kevin Durant were the All-NBA First-Team forwards. Carmelo Anthony was named to the second team.
We wrote about the stupidity of basketball positions last year at the WSJ. The designations don't make sense anymore: online.wsj.com/article/SB1000…
The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn did not vote for J.J. Hickson. At least I hope not
Luke Babbitt did not receive and All NBA vote but J.J. Hickson did. Someone thinks J.J. Hickson is one of the NBA's top 15 players. Alrighty
JJ Hickson, Nic Vucevic and Raymond Felton are among those who received All-NBA third team votes. #wheeeee
Melo, Griffin, M. Gasol, Parker and Westbrook on Second Team. Lee, P. George, Howard, Wade and Harden on Third Team.
Two other #Knicks who received votes for All-NBA teams are Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton.
In other words, Melo finished among the top-five in All-NBA voting. He simply didnt make the team bc the league only allows two forwards.
Worth nothing that Tim Duncan made 1st Team as a center. Melo, as a forward, finished w/ 397 pts for All-NBA voting. Duncan had 392 pts.
Paul George, who I wrote about in today's @nytimes, was voted to the All-NBA 3rd team.
League releases All-NBA First Team: Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Tim Duncan. Melo, 3rd in MVP race, is on 2nd tm.
Carmelo makes second team All NBA. LeBron, Duncan, Durant, Kobe and Chris Paul were on the first team
Carmelo Anthony selected All-NBA second team, with LeBron James and Kevin Durant the forwards on the first team. No shame in that.
Melo is on the All-NBA Second Team. LeBron, Duncan, Durant, Paul and Bryant on the First Team. #Knicks
We have Part I of a #Knicks highlight package coming soon to KnickNow.com from the great @Siegel24. Stay tuned...
The USA Basketball men's national teams will conduct a team mini-camp in Las Vegas from July 22-25.
What's in store for @Iman Shumpert this offseason? Why does he want to play in Summer League? Find out here: on.knicks.com/10PxTVf
After watching "Birdman" Andersen soar for 16 points (7 for 7) last night, I'm thinking the Knicks could have used one more ex-Nugget.
But I know, I know. Coach K is the best man for the job. Not everyone can coach LeBron, Kobe, Durant, Melo, Westbrook, Love, Chris Paul etc.
While Carmelo had small shoulder tear, source says J.R. played playoffs with fluid buildup on knee nyp.st/1aa9Ily
Coach K - surprise, surprise - is back with USA hoops. So guys like Phil Jackson, Popovich & even Pat Riley don't get chance they've earned
Colangelo says what he felt all along about Krzyzewski's return: "I never really accepted the fact that he wasn't coming back."
So clinching that No. 2 seed might have proved more costly than if the #Knicks gave it up. We explain: sulia.com/c/new-york-kni…
Just in: Mike Krzyzewski will return for a third run with the USA Basketball men's national team.
USA Basketball makes it official. Coach K coming back for third stint as men's coach.
From last night: Already a bad offseason as MRI reveals Carmelo has a partially torn left shoulder. Surgery possible. nydn.us/16QYYw3
1-2 punch: MRI shows Carmelo played playoffs with small shoulder tear; J.R. Smith had fluid buildup on knee nyp.st/1aa9Ily
"I'm like a skillet bubbling until it filters up/I'm about to kill it, I can feel it building up..." Rabbit Run #np
Every man has an anthem, a song so personal it hits home every time. It's not always triumphant. Mine: @Eminem's "Rabbit Run". What's yours?
8 hours later still dumb to have Hibbert out - but terrible job by Paul George - and everyone else. Sam Young thought, "ah, just let him go"
Prigioni says on Argentine radio he wants to play in NBA next season but #Knicks future unclear nyp.st/16PXkue

When Donnie Walsh says the Pacers match up well against the Heat, I don't think he means minus Roy HIbbert.
Vogel said he grabbed Paul after game and told him to forget that last play. Paul then grabbed Vogel & told him not to forget last play.
This just in: The league office plans to review the replay of Frank Vogel's decision to bench Roy Hibbert...
Let's b honest here: Coach K didn't change his mind about committing time away from home again 2 coach Team USA. His wife changed her mind.
I haven't watched many LeBron press conferences before. Sounds as if he has a near-photographic memory when it comes to plays during a game.
My respect for Paul George's game went up three notches tonight. My opinion on his wardrobe? *whistles and walks away*
Vogel was worried about Bosh hitting J. What? Off inbounds pass? Not. Bron was getting ball. After that there was no time 2 pass, just shoot
Knicks fans watching tonight must wonder what was so tough about George Hill. Guy had trouble just catching and dribbling.
Vogel says Hibbert will probably be in next time. Next time? You had a next time and blew it both times.
Would've been an amazing steal of game for Indy since what they do best - defend and hustle - was only half there. Outrun for so many loose.
Prior to Game I, Donnie Walsh texted Heat-Pacers series was "Speed and skill vs. size and inside presence." Vogel erased team's advantage.
Greg Anthony said everything that had 2b said about Vogel's numbskull decision to bench HIbbert. Said Pacers should've zoned up w 2.2
Listening to Barkley and Kenny Smith shows that all announcers shouldn't be coaches. Rather have LeBron layup than Bosh 20-footer?

Wednesday, May 22 Only thing I can think of is that Vogel was still thinking about LeBron not being called for his 9th foul prior to Bosh 3-point play.
Not having Hibbert in the game for those two crucial plays the Pacers were inviting James to drive.
Good game. George didn't deserve to lose it. Pacers have to grab the board up 3 and Hibbert has to be on the floor on last possession.
George overplayed LeBrons right side, which was the right gamble. LeBron exploded left, which was a great move. Pacers help D frozen.
Why were the Pacers guarding the corners? There wasn't time for a pass from LeBron. I cannot recall a worse coaching decision 2 sit Hibbert
Hey Sam Young, you need to absolutely lay out LeBron there. Not a good time to be stopping and watching.
Frank Vogel, I've credited you all year. But it's fitting that you get burned when you pull a defender of Hibbert's caliber out twice there.
I mean, second chance and you put Hibbert on the bench again? Brian Shaw, did you approve? Because if you did your stock just went down.
Billy King is on the phone to Donnie Walsh to find out if Brian Shaw had anything to do with Hibbert's removal.
Vogel, during the Knicks' series: "The beauty of this team is that we don't really adjust to other teams. We do what we do."
Classic NBA over-coaching. Yea, lets sit our biggest, best interior defender when we need a stop, against LeBron, who wants to drive
Everybody on the planet wants to know why Vogel removed Hibbert from the game. Certainly not for defensive reasons...
So first LeBron sees Vogel take Hibbert out, then sees Hill switch on him with no help. Okay, well, there's always Game 2.
Vogel's getting too cute. Did it during the Knicks-Pacers series, too. Don't go away from what got you to this point.
LeBron James was just called for his fourth fifth foul. I mean, finally called for the fifth.
Dont know a single person whos not excited about the notion of seeing George's game develop. Has all the right attributes to be really good
