Steven Adams is good. Just scored 12 straight points.
Steven Adams has 12 points in the last two-plus minutes of game action. He's now 19-of-21 shooting in the preseason.
Steven Adams missed his first four preseason free throws. He's made seven straight since.
Dave Joerger is yelling at the officials in this game like it's Game 7.
Three preseason games, three four-point plays for Anthony Morrow. This streak has become the most interesting part of OKC's preseason.
Anthony Morrow has taken two 3s tonight, and Vince Carter has fouled him on both of them. Last one was a four-point play.
The Thunder (kinda?) trail Memphis 32-23 at the end of the first quarter. Beno Udrih -- Thunder killer -- with 10 points.
Perry Jones with a corner three and a post up that turned into an and-1 in the first quarter: 2/2 FG for six points.
Jeremy Lamb's hair just checked into the game.
Zach Randolph peers down the benches at KD, mouths 'your foot good?' Durant gives him an approving nod.
And one technical foul now for Westbrook.
Russell Westbrook's first four minutes in a Durantless world: six points, 3-4 shooting.
Two fouls on Steven Adams less than three minutes into the game. Gonna be a continual problem.
Nothing has changed in regards to the outlook for Durant since Presti spoke Sunday.
Durant hasn't had surgery on his foot yet. The plan remains that he will, but it just hasn't happened yet.
Kevin Durant is in warmups and on the bench tonight. Not wearing a boot or anything.
Kevin Durant is on the bench tonight. In a warmup. Wearing his KD shoes. No walking boot.
No TV for Thunder-Grizzlies tonight. Neither team is broadcasting the game.
First time in the Thunder's locker room this season. You'll never believe this, but Mitch McGary's locker is next to Nick Collison's.
Dave Joerger: "If Kevin Durant is going to play 40 mins of a 48-min game, don’t think he’s not going to play 40 mins of a 44-min game."
Dave Joerger on the 44-minute game experiment: "I love it."
Oh and Reggie Jackson (wrist) is out also.
Note: Collison (ankle), Perkins (quad), Durant (foot), McGary (foot) and Ibaka (ankle) are all out tonight.
Thunder starting five tonight: Westbrook, Roberson, Jones, Lance Thomas and Steven Adams.
Both Jeremy Lamb and Anthony Morrow off the bench tonight. Scott Brooks says limited minutes for Perry Jones.
Thunder's starting lineup tonight: Westbrook, Roberson, Perry Jones, Lance Thomas and Steven Adams
Per Bovada, Kevin Durant still with second-best odds (4/1) to win MVP. LeBron is 5/6. Russell Westbrook fourth at 15/1 (tied with Rose).
The six regulars are Westbrook, Lamb, Morrow, Roberson, Jones and Adams. My guess is Morrow comes off the bench and the other five start.
That leaves 10 healthy players tonight. Four are camp invitees. So presumably six players are in contention for five starting spots tonight.
Steven Adams asked if the extra playing time from injuries could be blessing in disguise: "Nah...It's pretty crap what happened."
EIGHT players out with injury for the Thunder tonight: KD, Perk, Ibaka, Collison, McGary, Jackson, Telfair, Jerrett.
Oh yeah, and Nick Collison (ankle) is out as well.
Reggie Jackson doing some individual court work right now, too. No wrist brace, looks good.
Kendrick Perkins back on the court shooting around with the bigs today. First time I've seen that this year.
Oh yeah, and Reggie Jackson (wrist) is out as well.
Ibaka (ankle), Telfair (thumb), McGary (foot), Durant (foot), Perkins (quad) & Jerrett (ankle) are all out tonight against Memphis.
And I have been reminded yet again that some don't understand fun, stupid things. Everything isn't super serious, you know.
Clean sweep surf!
Brooks cont'd: "...He hasn't missed many games ... We all get paid to play and coach 82 games and I commend him for that."
Scott Brooks on if Durant was possibly overworked: "No, I mean, if you look at the total minutes, he's played a lot of games..."
Westbrook was asked if he'd seen the meme of him eyeing the MVP trophy: "I don't know what memes is."
Scott Brooks says Serge Ibaka practiced today and might play tomorrow. Nick Collison, Reggie Jackson and Kendrick Perkins are all out.
Nick Collison (ankle), Kendrick Perkins (quad) and Reggie Jackson (wrist) remain out with injuries.
Serge Ibaka practiced fully today. "Looked good" per Scott Brooks.
Russell Westbrook asked if he's seen meme of him with MVP trophy: "I don't know what memes is" http://t.co/qYLraqM26e
Westbrook pretty adamant his role won't be changing. Says he just wants to run the team as always. Mmmhmm.
Russell Westbrook on Durant's injury: "If anyone knows, I'd know."
Russell Westbrook asked about people doubting the Thunder: "What people?" Told the media. RW: "I never listened to the media...won't now."
Russell Westbrook asked how his role changes with Durant out: "It doesn't."
Russell Westbrook calls the KD injury unfortunate: "If anyone knows, I'd know."

Tied Game. Cowboy Nation
Wikipedia says a Jones fracture was first described by orthopedic surgeon Sir Robert Jones, who sustained the injury while dancing.
That's a late hit
I'm really hoping this is all just one really elaborate rookie hazing scheme.
Now, a couple days after McGary's injury, Durant completely one-ups him again and steals all the attention.
Last week at practice, Mitch McGary was talking to reporters and Durant interrupted him couple questions in and told him to get out of way.
Going on SportsCenter shortly to discuss Kevin Durant's injury.
It's about to be a lot of Pissed of Seahawks Fans today. Cowboy Nation.
