Anthony Slater

Per Thunder, Russell Westbrook went to the locker room late in the third quarter to change his jersey. Had blood on it.

Royce Young

Westbrook: "As a point guard, my job is to set the tone. And I didn't do a great job of that to start the third quarter."

Royce Young

Russell Westbrook sits down at the podium and says, "Haven't been up here in a long time."

Royce Young

Mike Conley: "We were embarrassed in the first half, quite frankly."

Royce Young

Joerger asked about Tony Allen's decent offensive night: "Yeah, they don't guard him."

Royce Young

Dave Joerger on if his guys ran out of gas in the second half: "No question."

Royce Young

Brooks on Westbrook going to the tunnel/locker room: "Russell, as far as I know, is fine. This is the first I've heard of it."

Darnell Mayberry

Brooks on Westbrook: "Russell, as far as I know, he's fine."

Royce Young

Scott Brooks: "I think Caron's dunk probably surprised 18,203 fans, as well as the staff and players."

Anthony Slater

Final from Game 1: Thunder beats the Grizzlies 100-85. Game 2 on Monday night at 7 p.m. CT.

Darnell Mayberry

Final from Game 1: Thunder 100, Grizzlies 86.

Royce Young

Thunder win Game 1 100-86. Durant with 33-8-7, Westbrook 23-10-5, Ibaka 17, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Darnell Mayberry

Make it 23 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Russell Westbrook.

Anthony Slater

Kevin Durant leaves with 33 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Anthony Slater

Serge Ibaka changes games with some of his blocks. Has four tonight.

Royce Young

Ibaka blockassist to KD for a dunk. Pretty good play.

Royce Young

If I make that catch Durant just did and try and put up a layup full speed ahead, it hits the backboard so hard it rolls to halfcourt.

Royce Young

Kevin Durant's go-go-gadget arms.

Royce Young

Grizzlies are just running out of gas after that third quarter.

Royce Young

My guess: Westbrook needed a little cool down phase after running a little too hot in the third.

Anthony Slater

Russell Westbrook to the scorer's table after a lonnnng rest.

Royce Young

Russell Westbrook headed to check in.

Royce Young

Thought for a second Fisher was going to try and go dunk that one.

Anthony Slater

Don't want to leave that guy...

Anthony Slater

Solid Caron Butler dunk, but not as good as this one he had on Chris Kaman: youtube.com/watch?v=RgqCsY…

Royce Young

What the what Caron Butler.

Anthony Slater

Tony Allen is balling on both ends.

Royce Young

Ed Davis checks in at 9:52 in the fourth for Randolph who picked up his fifth. First sub of the second half for Memphis.

Anthony Slater

Five fouls on Zach Randolph forces Dave Joerger to make his first substitution of the second half.

Darnell Mayberry

Third time in 10 games Collison's been bloodied.

Royce Young

Nick Collison bleeding again...

Darnell Mayberry

Collison's bleeding again this time from his right elbow.

Royce Young

Dave Joerger starts the fourth with his five that started the third, and played that entire quarter. Hasn't subbed this half.

Anthony Slater

Memphis in the first half: 12-of-48 shooting, 34 points. Memphis in the third quarter: 14-of-24, 31 points.

Darnell Mayberry

Memphis outscores OKC 31-13 in the third period and holds the Thunder to 3-for-16 shooting in the period to pull within 69-65. 4th Q ahead.

Mike Baldwin

Oklahoma City Barons notebook: Steve MacIntyre is captain for a day bit.ly/1jkMFbZ

Royce Young

Grizzlies outscore OKC 31-13 in the third, and the Thunder lead just 69-65 heading to the fourth.

Anthony Slater

The Thunder went 3-of-16 shooting with five turnovers in the third quarter. Oof. Lead cut from 22 to four.

Royce Young

I don't think I could write my name if 19,000 people were chanting MVP at me, much less make some free throws.

Anthony Slater

Grizz are methodical, but impressive. Thunder lethargic. Lead down to seven.

Royce Young

Russell Westbrook started 5-7. Has made just one of his last seven. Forcing some bad ones in the third.

Royce Young

Grizzlies had 34 in the first half. They put up half that in less than five minutes to start the third. Quite the turnaround.

Darnell Mayberry

Grizzlies start the third quarter on a 17-4 run, cutting a 22-point halftime deficit to nine with 7:17 left in the period.

Royce Young

And just like that -- in less than five minutes -- Grizzlies trim OKC's 22-point halftime lead to nine.

Anthony Slater

Energy level not there for the Thunder to start the second half. Grizzlies on a 16-4 run, have cut the lead to 10.

Royce Young

Grizzlies halfcourt sets are night and day from first half to second. Lot more movement and action. Great adjustment by Joerger.

Darnell Mayberry

Tony Allen starting the second half in place of Tayshaun Prince (illness), who played just four first-half minutes

Darnell Mayberry

Quick change gets me every time. I saw the woman change and I still don't know where the previous outfit went.

Royce Young

Grizzlies' first half shot chart is redder than Russell Westbrook's outfit: twitpic.com/e1l0zg

Royce Young

Thunder lead the Grizzlies 56-34 at half. Durant with 17-5-4, Westbrook with 16 and 8 rebounds. Memphis shot 12-48 (25 percent).

Anthony Slater

Halftime: Thunder up 56-34. Westbrook/KD with 33 on 13-of-25 FG. Randolph/Gasol with 14 on 5-of-20 FG.

Darnell Mayberry

At halftime, the Thunder leads the Grizzlies, 56-34. Durant has 17 points. Westbrook has 16. Memphis shooting 12-48 (25 percent)

Anthony Slater

Avert your eyes: Grizzlies first half shot chart -> http://t.co/UqRVMqn425

Royce Young

The Thunder are just completely overwhelming the Grizzlies. When you can't run anything in the halfcourt, you're gonna get smoked.

Darnell Mayberry

Great recognition by Durant to reward the big man (Ibaka) for his hustle (blocking Tony Allen in transition and running the floor).

Anthony Slater

Grizzlies now 11-of-46 from the field and 8-of-16 from the line. Haven't made a three, either.

Anthony Slater

First half minutes for Hasheem Thabeet. Maybe Scott Brooks is just trolling the Grizzlies (team that drafted Thabeet 2nd overall).

Darnell Mayberry

Reggie Jackson has taken a game-high six free throws. Need more of that out of him.

Royce Young

They say the ball is faster than the defender. Except when that defender is Russell Westbrook. (I'm talking that recovery on Mike Conley.)

Darnell Mayberry

Westbrook has a game-high seven rebounds.

Royce Young

That Collison-to-Durant backdoor play? A thing of beauty, and darn near unstoppable: dailythunder.com/2014/04/film-s…

Anthony Slater

The Thunder averaged 6.1 blocks this season, second most in the NBA. OKC has seven in the first 17 minutes.

Royce Young

I think Caron Butler went to Russell Westbrook Swag School.

Royce Young

The Bash Brothers are bashing. Collison and Adams have combined for five blocks in 13 minutes.

Royce Young

The worst thing about the extra long timeouts in the playoffs is that I basically just had to listen to all of "Tik Tok."

Anthony Slater

Shoutout to the Thunder fan in a bunny costume, Serge Ibaka jersey and gold chain with a wine glass. THAT's how you do Easter.

Anthony Slater

Steven Adams has played one minute and 26 seconds. He has three blocks.

Darnell Mayberry

Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph combined to score nine points on 3-for-16 shooting in the first quarter.

Darnell Mayberry

Thunder 29, Grizzlies 16 after one. Memphis shooting 5-for-29 (17.2 percent) in the first quarter.

Royce Young

Thunder lead Memphis 29-16 after a quarter. Westbrook with 12 on 5-7. Grizzlies shot 5-of-29 (17.2 percent).

Anthony Slater

Memphis shot 5-of-29 in the first quarter. Seventeen percent. OKC up 29-16. About as well as they could have played.

Royce Young

Derek Fisher toe on the line? Derek Fisher toe on the line.

Anthony Slater

Mike Miller into the game. Last time he played OKC in the playoffs: 23 pts, 7/8 from three. Wonder if Thunder fans remember?

Royce Young

Russell Westbrook with a perfect FIFA lob through ball to Durant.

Anthony Slater

Russell Westbrook rollllllllling early: 10 points, 4/5 shooting, four rebounds, two assists. Making up for lost playoff time.

Anthony Slater

One minutes, two fouls for Tony Allen. On that Blake Griffin plan.

Royce Young

Both catches Randolph has had have been 15 feet from the basket. That's the advantage to playing Perk on him. Just forces him out.

Anthony Slater

Memphis' start has been about as ugly as Thabo Sefolosha's new haircut.

Anthony Slater

Memphis trying to make road teams 4-0 on opening day in the NBA playoffs. Not going well early. OKC up 8-0.

Royce Young

Thunder start on an 8-0 run. Timeout, Grizzlies.

Royce Young

To say Russell Westbrook is fired up would be a serious understatement. Dude looks like he's about to spontaneously combust.

Anthony Slater

Kevin Durant miss, Kendrick Perkins tip-in to get this OKC playoff run started. As we all expected.

Anthony Slater

The Thunder coaches, broadcasters and support personnel are wearing commemorative pins tonight in honor of OKC bombing victims.

Royce Young

Moment of silence in OKC to remember 4-19-95. Pretty powerful moment.

Anthony Slater

Thunder currently 7.5-point favorites over the Grizzlies tonight. Seems high, especially for a game expected to be in the 90's.

Anthony Slater

Steven Adams played 85 minutes in the four games vs Memphis this season. Had 13 offensive rebounds, more than everyone not named Z-Bo.

Royce Young

Kendrick Perkins will start the game guarding Zach Randolph, Serge Ibaka is on Marc Gasol.

Royce Young

A blueout for the Thunder in Game 1: twitpic.com/e1klhm

Anthony Slater

Real nice road win for the Warriors. Early reminder of how crazy the West is gonna be.
