Robinson focused on left-handed shooting and left-handed finishes at rim, which should improve his off-hand this season (cont) ...
T-Rob is just completely different in front of media than he was last year. So much more comfortable, night and day.
Robinson said he took 3 1/2 weeks off after thumb surgery, then started working out again ... mostly with left hand.
Robinson said he did most of his shooting with his left hand while recovering from the surgery.
T-Rob on contract status: "I can't lie. It comes across your mind, it's my career. But I can't pay too much attention to it."
Thomas Robinson said he started contact last year. He had surgery on right thumb in July, you'll recall.
To recap so far: Lillard's 4th year option picked up. Decisions on T-Rob, CJ and Meyers won't happen until Oct. 25.
On the distribution of Blazers games on TV, Chris McGowan said there's "nothing new" on the matter.
McGowan on Comcast situation: "Nothing new, unfortunately."
McGowan is especially excited about bar and other improvements on 300 level because, "Those fans support us on a nightly basis."
Stotts said nothing is set as far as rotation and minutes, said that's what October is for.
Terry Stotts says he wants to see improvements in weak side defense and transition. Not concerned with dead last rank in forcing turnovers.
Stotts said he doesn't expect to "tweak" offense "too much" but will look for defensive improvement in transition and attempts at rim.
Stotts praised Blake's passing, defense. "I think Damian will enjoy playing with him."
Stotts on dealing with contract years: "When a team wins, everybody wins."

Stotts also used the phrase "responsibility for being an elite team." Guess that's our mantra.
Terry Stotts said McCollum, Crabbe, Leonard, Barton have improved in offseason.
Olshey on starting 5: "No one thinks anyone on our roster is all that flashy. All they do is get it done. I love our starters."
Olshey says having their draft pick available helps them be aggressive in trade market. But he says they already have their draft board up.
Olshey said having an unencumbered draft pick gives him a "real ability to be aggressive in trade market."
Olshey on his starting 5: "I think we have guys that know their role and are comfortable in their roles."
Despite turnovers on player personnel execs, Olshey said he likes a small staff and, "I’m very comfortable where our staff is."
Olshey says there have not been formal discussions with Wesley Matthews on a contract extension. Says Wes eligible 4 extension til June 30.
Olshey says there is no objective number of wins to determine success. Thinks West will be tough again and the East is better.
Olshey said teams could get a higher seed even with fewer wins because West strong, East stronger.
Blazers pick up the 4th year option for Damian Lillard, Olshey announces. No surprise.
