HoopsHype Toronto Raptors twitter
Lowry picks off bad pass, goes coast to coast for lay-up and the Brooklyn crowd erupts with applause... wait... what? Tons of Raps fans here
Boos from the Nets fans as a “Let’s go Raptors” chant starts. This is wild.
After missing their first 5 shots, Jarrett Jack puts the Nets on the board with a 3-ball. Took them 3:51 to score. 14-3 Raps lead
There goes the shutout.
Raptors race out to a 10-0 start 3 mins in, hitting 4 of their first 5 shots. Quick timeout for the Nets, they've missed their first 4
This is the most active I’ve seen the Raptors defensively in eons. Hey are moving with a purpose.
The Raptors fans here are about as loud as all of the Nets fans.
The Nets are $30 million above salary cap, have traded most of their draft picks for years to come and the owner is trying to sell Good luck
Valanciunas plans to go ice fishing over all-star break.
Tons of Lithuanian fans here to see Jonas Valanciunas. See some Marciulionis and Sabonis jerseys.
BRUNO active with James Johnson (hamstring) out.
Teammates were surprised to hear about James Johnson’s injury. Just happened here at arena pre-game.
James Johnson strained his hamstring this afternoon, doesn't sound like he'll be available tonight
James Johnson likely out with right hamstring strain
Las vuelta que da la Vida.. Tan lejos pero tan cerca... Tu voz, tus iniciales son factores que hacen que yo piense en ti............ Happy
I'm not talking voting using the NBA ballot hashtag. I'm talking the same voting weight the coaches get.
Was classic Casey. From start of time here has been lowering expectations, pointing to learning curve, process.
Am I crazy to think that the players should have a vote in NBA All-Stars? With obvious restrictions (i.e. Can't vote for self).
“Our city and fans should be excited for what these young men have achieved, the direction they are going."
"We're in the best time the franchise has ever been in and every day all I hear are questions what we're not doing, what they're not doing"
Also, DeRozan says Nets not a rival. Past is past, new season. "I wish we had (a rival), but hopefully we get one sooner or later."
Also, Lowry joked he’d pull a MarShawn if media didn’t hurry up. “I’m ready, Kyle Lowry is ready, let’s go, I can do three things at once"
Basically, Raptors want to know why, in midst of by far best start ever, why so many are unhappy/looking for things to criticize them for.
Dwane Casey had a lot to say today about how most people are keying on what Raptors doing wrong over all the things they are doing right.
Asked Kyle Lowry for his Super Bowl pick: "Don't worry about it". Said he didn't want to give me any betting tips.
Patrick Patterson is an elite NBA quote. Plenty of BS around the league but Pat tells it as it is. Articulate, intelligent & always on point
Patterson on NFL/Deflate-Gate: "Its just an unfair league.. I believe that something should have been done or something could still be done"
Patterson: "At the end of the day rules are rules & the NFL I feel like should uphold the rules for the New England Patriots but they won't"
Pat: "If a basketball is flat we'll know its flat. You can tell the difference. So for Tom Brady to say he didnt know.. obviously its a lie"
Patrick Patterson's Super Bowl pick: the Seahawks. Why? "Cheaters never win". Pat's strong words on Deflate-Gate: http://t.co/JGtnwaJfIm
Cousins is a deserving all star but I'm still surprised he was the commissioners choice to replace Kobe, not Lillard.
To be fair to Casey, might have been being diplomatic. Durant and Westbrook missed games too, but are top 5-10 players so a bit different.
DeRozan seemed bit disappointed to not repeat all star berth. Casey said coaches said just too many games missed
Good morning world.
All that work. CHI still falls short. Lakers win it in Double OT. Okay, bed calls. Raps-Nets tomorrow (well, later today....)
Bulls never had a lead ... til OT. They go up 5 in OT...Lakers tie it. Double OT now. Wild game.
98-89. Lakers led the Bulls w/ 1:29 to play. CHI comes back to tie it. That's why NO game is ever over til it's over. Cliche, but true.
Quite the adventure getting off ground at Pearson to get to NYC. Is it still snowmaggedon at home?
Guess the best way to make an all-star game is to have previously made an all-star game. The West is hard, but c'mon.
Wait, LILLARD didn't get in? HAHAHAHAHA.
I would have had Boogie in over Durant, Duncan and Westbrook. Sucks for him. Hopefully he gets in for Kobe.
Would like to see NBA make coaches' reserve vote transparent. If not who voted for who, than at least a final tally (same as fan vote)
Wade shouldn't be on all star team. Knight was a possibility there. Out west, Lillard should've got it over CP3. Plus KD or Russ, not both
Hawks get 3 - Horford, Millsap and Teague join Irving, Bosh, Butler and Wade on bench for East. Korver left off.
Love Charles Barkley's logic it's about winning.
West is crazy good, somebody was going to get snubbed. Hard to believe Lillard and Cousins aren't All-Stars, but who do you take out?
Wheels down in NEW YORK.. Llegando a NY..
Reports saying no all-star appearance for Korver. Some coaches voted for him though, just not enough. Maybe he'll replace Wade
