HoopsHype Toronto Raptors twitter
Casey (I'm paraphrasing) spoke in general -- about no 1 team specifically -- saying 'careful what ya wish for' re: teams losing/jockeying
LOL at my last tweet
To sum it all up: Tonight is a good reminder that we are all powerless in this world, so just watch basketball and have fun.
Of course, if Charlotte beats Bulls, Raps game will become totally meaningless around 9:30.
Perhaps only way to manipulate things tonight is to play super slow pace, ensure many fouls, so that yours is the game that finishes last.
Worst-case scenario for raps: Raps lose, Bulls lose, Nets lose, Washington wins.
Best-case scenario for Raps: Chicago wins, Raptors lose, Nets lose, Washington wins.
Well, I should restate: Raps control if they lineup with Heat/Pacers — a win guarantees Heat. So they, don't control optimal result.
The Raptors don't control if they line up w/ Heat/Pacers, don't control if they play Nets/Wiz/Bobcats. So it goes.
Prediction: Raps finish third, face Nets, on Heat's side of bracket. I base this on years of observation.
Wow, with everyone cutting left and right, Globe suddenly acting like Pacman Jones in the strip club. Making it rain. Strange times
Toronto/Canadian media right now, basically: my fever dream of a 30-team NBA trade.
Good morning world.
"John, run 'horns sideways.'" "Coach, that's not a play. 'Horns up' or 'Horns down?" "I SAID 'HORNS SIDEWAYS," JEEZ."
"OK, Deron. If I yell 'one,' take it hard to the basket. If i yell 'two,' punt the ball right at Dan Gilbert there."
So, it is important to remember that on occasion, sports are just the dumbest.
"Take a delay of game," a coach will yell. "I'm hoping my Score mobile app will update the score. Do we want to win?"
With each team down by one at 10:31 tonight, Raps/Wiz/Nets will draw up plays for Landry Fields, Otto Porter and Marquis Teague.
So, for a man who did not see the Brooklyn-Knicks game last night: We're the Nets trying or "trying?"
Since they don't know who will finish 5/6 and Wiz/Nets play at same time, the Raptors will have no idea what preferable finish is.
Very cool. http://t.co/8pI25GcWWu
This (alleged? (obvious?)) tanking nonsense is such garbage. What if TOR loses to NY or WAS loses to BOS...*COULD* change any/all 'plans'
Multi-year deal for Chris Wright in Milwaukee. Good things happen to good people.
Nets loss in NY further complicates tomorrow's potential seeding scenarios. Nets can finish in 5th or 6th, Raps 3/4, Wiz 5/6/7, Cats 6/7
Weather In NYC
The thirst is real.. http://t.co/eG26o8s1Po

Grey day in NYC http://t.co/qIrMubB0db
But why just division 1? What about other NCAA schools that give athletic-scholarships?
Aqui en NEW YORK CITY....
Do you-- Miguel
Pearson security personnel arguing over favourable matchups. "Raps cant beat Charlotte," says one. "CHA doesnt play playoff bball" the other
Guitar 3 point celebration?? I need to see it lol..
Enterprise: we'll pick you up & drop you off...and teach you how to change a tire and discuss the health benefits of fruits and vegetables
Next person to ask me when game one is...owes me $50!
Livingston, Anderson, Teletovic are all out for Nets in NY tonight. Pierce, Williams, Johnson are GTDs. Melo may sit out for Knicks
Nets fall to 6th, avoid 4th (likely Bulls) & face 3rd (likely Raptors) with: losses vs NY and @ CLE + Wizards win @ BOS Wednesday
Would you put it past Jason Kidd (a man who staged a sideline collision/drink spill) to throw a couple games for favourable seeding?
Carlyle on his future: 'I'm here today'
Big part of Toronto’s surging April offence: Greivis Vasquez shooting 61% from three (17-for-28) in past five games.
In other words: Nice job Raptors. Fresh Lowry huge key for playoffs. Best to sit out Amir Wednesday too.
Four games before Kyle Lowry got some rest: 17 assists, 17 turnovers. Four games since coming back: 21 assists, 6 turnovers, 26.5 PPG
So, while Toronto’s once-excellent defence has fallen off of a cliff, the bright side would be team is going at crazy clip at other end.
Defensive worries justified and small sample size, but, Toronto’s 115.2 offensive rating in April by far NBA’s best (23 in D-rating)
Good morning world.
