HoopsHype Utah Jazz twitter
Love Portland -- 19% in the league in FG% and 7th in the NBA in offensive efficiency. So clear what a poor stat FG% is
So does this mean Trey goes 16/27 fpr 38 points since both he and Monta went 4/22 in their last game
Interesting that Hood is doubtful for tomorrow's game as well, as it seemed he developed his "gastrointestinal distress" during the game.
Jazz officially listing Hayward and Hood as doubtful for tomorrow versus Portland.
Both Gordon Hayward and Rodney Hood are listed as doubtful for Wednesday game v. Portland
The best thing I have done all season ........
Here it comes .......
Jazz announce they have purchased the Idaho Stampede. Team has signed a one-year extension to stay in Boise through 2015-16 at least.
My prediction (guess) for the Idaho Stampede announcement coming up in 15 minutes: Jazz buying team outright, will rebrand team next season.
Some Utah-Duke trash talk at practice. http://t.co/xiNoKSCIZv
Gordon Hayward (shoulder) and Rodney Hood (gastrointestinal distress) did not participate in this morning's practice, Jazz PR says.
(2/2) James Harden uses 20.3% of his possessions in final 7 seconds of shot clock. Steph Curry uses 7.3% of his in final 7 seconds
(1/2) James Harden uses 10.4% of his possessions in the final 4 seconds of the shot clock. Steph Curry uses 2.9% of his in final 4 seconds
I have a hunch you will see Minnesota and the Jazz in the near playoff future. Both teams have great young talent
I apologize to wolves fans if you thought I was insinuating the wolves are tanking. I was addressing tanking in general and how bad it is.
Long Triple Team tonight, sorry it's so late. I owe you guys one. Each of you. Only one, though.

Trey Burke on his 4-for-22 night: “I feel like I kind of let my teammates down."
Last person to go 4 for 22 in an NBA game was Monta Ellis -- last night
"If I just make this shot, everything beforehand will be forgotten!" Trey Burke, 9 times in the last 5 minutes.
Tired excuse no longer allowed for any team this season -- not after Minnesota uses 7 players in a back-to-back OT win at high-altitude Utah
Oh, my god, Trey Burke.
Burke takes the would-be winner, but it's off the mark. Jazz lose 106-104.
Minnesota up 103-100 after Dieng sinks the second. Jazz ball, 16.8 left.
Dieng misses his first free throw and Rudy seems pretty pleased about it.
Burke's 3 for 20 after missing that open look.
Gobert cleans up a miss and the Jazz trail 102-100 with a minute left.
The thing is, it's not like Trey is a good shooter. These aren't good shots anyway, even in a world where he's not 3-19.
The Jazz just simply can't get stops right now
Minnesota rookies Wiggins/LaVine both just turned 20. They have combined for 48 points in 17 of 36 shooting going into OT tonight.
Pass. The. Ball. Trey.
Trey Burke's shot hits the side of the backboard. First OT of the year up next.
Give to to Favors....He's your best player...but my guess is Burke takes the final shot
Jazz ball, no Gordon Hayward & 12.2 on the clock.
Don't look now, but Zach LaVine just tied this game at 96.
Jazz have hit 10 of last 12 free throws
LaVine had a look to tie it but couldn't convert. Gobert grabs his 16th board.
So Gobert has carried the Jazz in the last three minutes
Jazz announced attendance tonight is 19,911, a sellout, which seems not true.
And so was that one
Wolves playing Hack-a-Gobert.
That rebound in traffic from Gobert was special
Looked up to see Trey has 4 steals. His shooting (3-14) has been dreadful, but at least he's made a difference on the other end.
Or D'Angelo Russell to Zach Lavine and Andrew Wiggins....
If Minnesota adds Jahlil Okafor to Andrew Wiggins...
T-Wolves take a 73-72 lead on a Kilpatrick 3. Flip says his shorthanded team has run out of gas last two games. Jazz hope that holds true.
Rodney Hood (gastrointestinal distress) will not return, Jazz PR says.
End of 3: Jazz 63, Wolves 60. Rookies Joe Ingles and Zach LaVine have 18 apiece. Jazz have committed 15 turnovers (19 pts), MIN 16 for 14.
Nice pass by Burke.
Did a double-take after Wiggins attacked Rudy Gobert and went over him at the rim just before halftime.
I've seen better rookies than Andrew Wiggins. Kevin Durant comes to mind.
Halftime: Jazz 48, Wolves 42. Ingles has 16 on 6-of-8 shooting. Favors 9 & 4. Gobert 8 & 8. Andrew Wiggins leads Minnesota with 14 points.
Ingles just hit his fourth 3-pointer, tying his season high for points (16).
Joe Ingles has matched his career high with points with 16, and we still have 30 seconds left in the 1st half.
Chase Budinger is guarding Derrick Favors. Trey should be setting him up, not taking 15 foot fallaways.
Hood left the bench a couple minutes back and made his way to a trash can in the hallway. Not sure what's up or what his status is yet.
This is bad basketball, but I will give them credit for trying to make it exciting basketball. They're just not succeeding.
As shorthanded as Wolves are with Hayward out if Trey has a bad game Jazz could have a tough time getting this one.
End of 1: Jazz 22, Wolves 20. Joe Ingles 8 points on 3/3 FGs. For MIN, Zach LaVine has 7 points & Wiggins has 4 on 2-of-6 shooting.
I've seen a lot of NBA games. Don't recall anyone getting two fouls in the first 63 seconds, like Dante Exum just did.
Rudy air balls a J from the line. Favors catches & scores. What spacing issues?
Only 7 players going through the lay-up line for the Wolves. Kevin Martin sitting on the bench not participating.
Since Alec Burks injury every wing/guard minute other than Gordon Hayward has been by rookie or 2nd year player
Among factors in Q's starters decision: "It gives us Trey’s punch off the bench still, which in Gordon’s absence may even be more important.
Q: "That was a valid enough sample that we could get an idea of how we were doing, but still allowed us to accept the progress we've made."
Quin Snyder said pregame tonight that, starting in January, he broke the season up into 10-game increments to evaluate the team's progress.
As always when a team has a small number of healthy players (Wolves have 8 tonight), I'll be rooting for them all to foul out.
Rubio & Garnett won't play tonight, Saunders says. T-Wolves missing eight players in all.
With Hayward out, Jazz likely to start Exum, Hood, Ingles, Favors and Gobert.
