Emilio CobosSpurs draftee Nando de Colo has no agreement in place with San Antonio, but the French guard will give the Spurs first dibs over European clubs as a free agent, his agent Wassim Boutanos told HoopsHype.

"We have promised the Spurs we will let them know of any firm offer Nando receives - whether it is from Barcelona, (Caja Laboral) Vitoria or any other European team," Boutanos said. "We have been in contact with the Spurs for a long time and Nando is in every projection they have about the team for next season, but the timing now is not right to negotiate and it probably won't be until after the draft."
De Colo just finished his season with Valencia Basket after getting eliminated by FC Barcelona in the Spanish League semifinals. The French playmaker, who was the 53rd pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, averaged 13.1 ppg and 2.9 apg in the ACB and will be one of the most coveted pieces in the European market this summer. De Colo has made no secret that his ultimate goal is to play in the NBA, where the French-heavy Spurs hold his rights, but his agent is not closing the doors on Europe just yet.
"If for one reason or another, Nando doesn't play in the NBA next season, he would like to play in the Euroleague," Boutanos said. "If possible, in Spain."
