Mavs guard Rudy Fernandez was supposed to take a flight to Dallas Wednesday, but there has been an issue with his visa and he's staying in Spain for the moment, according to a source.

"The Mavs made a mistake, some paperwork had to be done like a month ago and now Rudy has this issue and he can't fly to Dallas," the source said.

The same source tells HoopsHype there is a great chance that he plays the Euroleague game against Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday. He may also be available for Sunday's Spanish League game vs. Estudiantes.

Rudy wrote in his Twitter account: "In Madrid until further notice...".

Enric Corbella of Marca first reported Fernandez wouldn't fly today to Dallas because of visa issues.
