Gran Canaria of the Spanish League was reported to be a possible destination for former Pistons forward DaJuan Summers, but a deal is very unlikely to happen, HoopsHype has learned.

The ACB club inquired about Summers a few days ago, according to a source, but no conversations have taken place lately and they are now exploring other options. "It didn't sound like he was really looking forward to joining the team," the source said.

Summers signed with European powerhouse Montepaschi Siena in July and was recently waived after several subpar performances with the team. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 4.0 ppg on 31.3 percent shooting in three games at the Italian League.
