Damien Wilkins hopes it doesn't come down to it, but he's ready to go overseas if the lockout continues.
The free agent swingman told HoopsHype he has already received interest from the Chinese League.
"My agent brought an offer from China, but obviously you know they want you to stay," Wilkins said. "I don't know if that offer still stands or is still on the table because we haven't spoken about it anymore, but it's something I'll take a closer look at now."
Wilkins joined the Hawks midway through the 2010-11 season and was pretty efficient in limited playing time there, averaging 3.5 ppg on 50.4 percent shooting.
Despite his nice season with Atlanta, the 6-foot-6 Wilkins has not heard from European clubs.
"If that was the case I probably would've been gone already – especially since they allow you to return."
Anyway, going abroad would just be a backup plan for Wilkins in case there's no progress in labor talks.
"I've worked my ass off this summer, harder and definitely more consistent than any other summer that I can think of", Wilkins said. "I want to be here in the NBA. I want to play and put to use all the time I've put in."
