The Brooklyn Nets have re-signed guard Alan Anderson to a multi-year contract, General Manager Billy King announced today. Per team policy, details of the contract were not disclosed. "Alan's versatility was a big part of our success last season," said King. "We look forward to Alan's continued leadership on and off the court this season." NBA.com

With Williams out, Alan Anderson has started at shooting guard. Kidd brings guard Jason Terry, versatile forward Andrei Kirilenko and big men Mirza Teletovic, Andray Blatche and Reggie Evans off the bench. The small lineup has created issues for some teams with size, including the Thunder, Hawks and Warriors.
