The biggest obstacle for Saric coming to the NBA before the end of his two-year contract with Anadolu Efes remains financial. When Saric signed with the team prior to the NBA Draft, he signed on for two seasons. A source familiar with the contract told NJ Advance Media that there is absolutely no buyout clause in the contract whatsoever. The only way Saric could get out of the contract before the start of the 2016 NBA season would be if his team let him out. Newark Star-Ledger

Although the contract Saric signed is very black-and-white, one very big wild card in the whole situation is his father, Pedrag. The elder Saric has reached his boiling point with Anadolu Efes, a source told NJ Advance Media, and could force his way out of the contract. As he was quoted in a Croatian newspaper, Pedrag is not happy that his son has been inactive the first two games. It was Pedrag who insisted Saric sign on overseas instead of going to the NBA.
