Andrew Bogut is likely to wait until the end of the NBA season before deciding whether his body can handle playing a World Cup campaign for Australia. The 29-year-old has had a horror run of injuries in recent years, including a shoulder issue that saw him miss seven games for the Golden State Warriors this month. Last November Bogut said he was "up in the air" about representing the Boomers at this August's showpiece in Spain because he was concerned about the strain on his body. ninemsn

Andrej Lemanis says NBA superstar Andrew Bogut remains "100 per cent committed" to the national side despite being at long odds to play in next year's FIBA World Cup in Spain. After overcoming a horrible run of injuries, Bogut - who just signed a new $36 million, three-year deal with the Golden State Warriors - says he is "up in the air" about representing Australia between now and the 2016 Olympics. "I'm not too sure right now (about the World Cup)," Bogut told the Basketball Australia website. "The body is still a concern for me and I know how much I got out of this last off-season because of the rest and regime I put together. "My immediate goal with the national team is to definitely play in 2016 (Olympics) and anything in between is up in the air right now." FOXSports.com
