Making the transition from Europe to the NBA has proven to be a difficult adjustment for some players. Bojan Bogdanovic fully understands that. Still, the rookie forward feels like he can come in and contribute right away for the Brooklyn Nets in 2014-15. “It’s not gonna be easy,” Bogdanovic told reporters Monday during his introductory news conference at the team’s practice facility. “I have to make some adjustments -- especially because there’s a lot of games, a lot more than in Europe. But I am ready, and I think I can help the team immediately. ESPN.com

The Brooklyn Nets have signed forward Bojan Bogdanović to a multi-year contract, Nets General Manager Billy King announced today. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not released. “Having drafted Bojan in 2011, it is rewarding to finally welcome him to the Nets,” said King. “We obviously have a high regard for his game, and we are glad he will now bring that talent to Brooklyn.” NBA.com

A league source said the Nets continue to advance towards a contractual agreement with 2011 second-round pick Bojan Bogdanovic. The Nets will almost certainly sign the 25-year-old Croatian swingman, who averaged 14.8 points in Euroleague competition for Fenerbahce this past season, for the full mini mid-level exception, a deal worth roughly $10 million over three years. He reportedly could also have a player option for the third season. New York Post

In the last two games, Bogdanovic has raised his three point shooting in the Euroleague Round of 16 from five to 11 percent , this after shooting 40 percent in the 10-game regular season. The 6'8" swingman recently hired Arn Tellem, the NBA's top agent, to rep him in dealings with NBA teams. He already has a European agent. The news has to be considered good news for the Nets who are likely to be locked in a tough competition for his services this summer. Fener wants to re-sign him and there's word Spanish power house F.C. Barcelona wants him as well. NetsDaily
