Former Maverick Brandan Wright has had a nice stretch of games recently, including a 16-point, eight-rebound, seven-block effort last week. So would he consider a return to Dallas? “That’s been a frequently-asked question,” he said. “You can ask me that right after the season. Wright talked with coach Brad Stevens extensively over the last few days and knew at Friday morning’s shootaround he could be gone. “I really appreciated him in the time I’ve been here, he’s a great guy,” Wright said. “A heck of a coach. I said that many times. I really like the way he plays. With the guys that they have in that [Phoenix] system, he’ll really do well. It’s another jolt to your system.” Boston Globe
