The Los Angeles Clippers announced today that they have signed Forward Brandon Davies. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. “We really liked Brandon in Summer League,” Clippers Head Coach and Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations Doc Rivers said. “We like his ability to play multiple positions and he fits with our team. He understands team basketball and has been in here all summer working on his game.” NBA.com

With summer league over, Brandon's attention now turns to getting an invite to veteran's camp in October. Davies is planning on moving to Los Angeles to continue his off-season workouts. It's been well-publicized that the Clippers gave Davies a partially-guaranteed contract. That is typically a sign that a team is more interested in a certain player than a normal summer league free agent. KSL.com

Looks like the Los Angeles Clippers are serious about the prospects of adding former BYU star Brandon Davies to their roster. Davies, who went undrafted in last week's NBA Draft, has signed a free-agent deal with the Clippers. It isn't just a standard free-agent deal, however. Sean Deveney of The Sporting News reported via Twitter that Davies signed a "partially guaranteed" one-year contract with the Clips. Salt Lake Tribune

Former BYU center Brandon Davies has been invited to participate in next week's NBA Draft Combine in Chicago. While not exactly a surprise, given how he performed at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament last month, earning MVP honors, Davies was not a sure thing to make the list. So that's great news for the Provo High graduate, projected by some to be a late second-round pick in June's NBA Draft. Salt Lake Tribune
