March 27, 2015 Updates

Former Rockets assistant coach Brett Gunning on Friday began working with Rockets players on an informal, unofficial basis, a person with knowledge of his work with the team said. Gunning will not be added officially to the Rockets coaching staff because it is so late in the season with just 11 games remaining, but is considered a top assistant coach who was a candidate to join the Rockets staff last off-season before opting to remain with the Orlando Magic. Gunning left the Magic and returned to Houston when Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn was fired last month. Houston Chronicle
